The Past

Bruno Bucciarati was born in 1980 in a suburb of Naples to a family of fishermen, where he spent most of his happy childhood. When Bucciarati was seven years old, his parents decided to divorce. His father wanted to stay in the fishing village, and his mother wanted to move to the city. Bucciarati's mother tried to convince him to go to the city with her and get an education, but in the end Bucciarati said he would prefer to live with his father. Bucciarati knew that as soon as his mother got to the city, she would forget the village, and his father would be left alone and that he needed support. Bucciarati's father worked very hard, hoping that Bucciarati would one day move to the city and get an education. One day, two men pretending to be fishermen introduced themselves and asked Bucciarati's father to take them to the island. In fact, they were gangsters involved in the drug trade. Bucciarati's father was shot dead, but a Coast guard ship passed by, forcing the gangsters to flee. The crew found him and he was rushed to the hospital. While Bucciarati's father was unconscious, two gangsters entered his room intending to finish him off. But they suddenly discovered a knife pointed at them by twelve-year-old Bucciarati, who was hiding under the bed to protect his father, knowing that the people who tried to kill him would return. Bucciarati killed both gangsters, but knew that the police could not protect him or his family from revenge. He joined Passione in exchange for protection. For several years Bucciarati worked under the guidance of Polpo. Five years later, Bucciarati's father died of complications during surgery, but Bucciarati knew that the gang was connected to the operation. Bucciarati's trust was betrayed when he found out that someone from Passione had put drugs in his father's IV, from which he died, but he could not do anything about the situation. At the same time, Bucciarati was working to build a team of trustworthy people, recruiting allies.

About Bucciarati's gang

When Bruno joined Passione in 1999, after a while he thought about creating his own group within the mafia. So, he created the Bucciarati team, helping capable, interested people in need of help, who became his friends in the future. The Bucciarati gang is a team created by Bruno Bucciarati inside the mafia organization "Passione". He recruited everyone personally and respects each of his recruit friends, and also loves him like a father, because many of his friends did not get love and care in childhood and therefore he gives his all for their well-being, and they serve him in return, helping with work at Passione. The first person to join the Bucciarati team was Pannacotta Fugo, whom Bucciarati helped at a young age, when he was disowned by his parents because of the accidental murder of a college professor, which almost sent Fugo to prison. After him, Leone Abbacchio was accepted, whom Bucciarati accepted into his team after Abbacchio lost everything: work, happiness, the meaning of life. After Fugo saves Narancia Ghirga, finding him on the street leads to Bucciarati, who strictly forbids Narancia to join the mafia and tells him to return to his father's home and start a new life, but Narancia still secretly passed the test of their ex-capo - Polpo, their former capo, and joined Passione. Guido Mista became a Bucciarati recruit after he did not go to prison after a shootout to protect a woman, and Bucciarati helped him escape punishment and accepted him into his team. The last one to join was Giorno Giovanna, who joined on his own accord and quickly gained the trust of Bruno Bucciarati.

About friends and colleagues

Giorno Giovanna (15 years old): Bucciarati and Giorno met as enemies, Bucciarati recognized Giorno's determination, and Giorno saw that Bucciarati was a good man.
