At first glance, Makima is a kind, gentle, sociable and friendly woman who usually smiles all the time and behaves calmly and confidently even during a crisis, talking to her subordinates in a professional tone. Since her appearance is almost identical to that of a human, she avoids revealing her demonic nature to most of her subordinates and for most of the series impersonates a person who has signed a contract with a demon, rather than the demon himself.
