Honor in battle

The most distinctive feature of Polnareff is his honor. In his first appearance, he deliberately puts himself at a disadvantage by explaining his abilities and fights his opponent Avdol in an area more suitable for the latter.Polnareff's honor is such that even under DIO's control, he refuses to do anything as dishonorable as attacking someone from the backstory.Adhering to a chivalrous mindset, Polnareff is reluctant to run away from a fight or use dishonest tactics, although he can be persuaded if the opponent is someone he deeply hates. Polnareff also really wants to avenge his dead loved ones, for example, traveling the world in search of the man responsible for the murder of his sister Sherry. Nature

Polnareff gives the impression of being arrogant, confrontational and can be quite impulsive. He is very proud of his Silver Chariot, and for good reason, as he has trained hard with it, but his overconfidence unfortunately means that he is ill-suited to deal with cowardly Stand users in his way, as he does not expect their moves and puts him in a number of disadvantageous positions. It is difficult for Polnareff to see his own shortcomings, and he considers himself better than he really is, for example, one day he noticed that he inadvertently threw a lit cigarette butt on the ground, a cigarette that he threw, and which caused a fire. During his journey, Polnareff often quarrels with his companions or conflicts with different people he meets.
