ALPHAS social dynamics and hormonal test

Social dynamics = Alphas make up approximately two-sixths of the population. The conception of this caste has changed and modified over time. In a current social context, they are seen as pack leaders (the extension of this term varies according to the location in the world) associated with a more "traditionalist" concept of pack and family. Their competitive and assertive nature, more often than not, puts them in the spotlight for positions of power, while at the same time they can be labeled as aggressive or lacking empathy. Of course, these are merely stereotypes, as each individual's personality is shaped by different factors. There are many alphas who give off very peaceful and conciliatory energies. Hormonal test = The hormonal test given to them once they present themselves (usually at puberty, which also varies depending on the latitude in which they live or if they are children without endocrinological problems) can place them on a scale of high level, intermediate level, or low level. Low-level alphas seem to couple more often than one would expect from a beta. Their presentation is usually accompanied by severe salivation, as it's the first time their accessory glands are functioning maturely.

ALPHAS bite and knot

Bite = When an alpha is aroused, his accessory salivary glands are activated, producing hormone-laden saliva. At the same time, his canine teeth give him the opportunity to bite the omega's gland and mark them. This would be the first stage in the formation of a bond between an alpha and an omega. The bite will leave a mark on the omega's neck that will only last a few days if not perpetuated by repeated bites. The first bite is more forceful, almost mimicking a traumatic wound. ALPHAS companions

Mate= 1. An alpha and omega can become mates when they have sex during an omega's heat. 2. And they become mates when they begin to bond or already have a bond. Bond= Alphas and omegas have the ability to form a bond that unites them as mates. The full name for it is "mate bond," and it's a connection that forms over months and is basically an addiction to each other's hormones. If the couple stays away and doesn't share their hormones through sex (where a greater amount of hormones are released), biting, or skin-to-skin contact through sweat, they can enter periods of abstinence. Long periods of this can break the bond.

BETAS

Social dynamics = According to statistics, betas make up approximately half of the population. Based on the numbers above, they represent three-sixths of the world's population. They can only reproduce among themselves, as they don't produce any pheromones.

OMEGAS social dynamics (part 1)

Social Dynamics = Omegas occupy the smallest percentage of the population, being barely a sixth of the world's population. According to the latest statistics, it can be seen that there are more of them born in small towns and far from large cities (further demographic study still needs to be done). Their role in society is probably the one that has varied the most of the three, even if their roles varied from culture to culture, there were a long number of years where omegas were deprived of their rights since they were seen as the safest way to produce new generations. That is to say, they would start out being under the care of their parents and then move on to the care of their companions. The social change that came hand in hand with allowing them the right to education, to vote, to inheritance rights, to divorce, and to equal work. Even now, omegas are associated with softer and more accommodating personalities, submissive and in need of guidance to act, even if this is based on stereotypes of the time; It's normal that if a beta—especially a beta, since an approach from a strange alpha to an omega can be seen as potentially dangerous—from a strange pack encounters an omega in danger, they would want to help. Anatomically speaking, all omegas have the necessary organs to generate life. That is, a uterus and a pair of ovaries. Male omegas have a birth canal that opens solely for this purpose. It gradually expands over the months, and it is through this canal that examinations can be performed to view the fetal sac and the cervix. This takes longer than a female pregnancy, so male omegas require a couple more checkups and more careful pregnancy planning (even if this is a relatively modern practice, not yet implemented worldwide). Their mammary glands are not atrophied and can grow as needed during pregnancy. Male and female omegas tend to have a metabolism that favors fat accumulation in the hips and abdomen. They also have a gland located in the cervical region. This grows as the omega grows; some call it their scent gland. This is where the alpha's saliva can initiate the hormonal chain that will lead to a mate's bond. It's called the scent gland because the omegas' scent is much stronger the closer they get to that area. It's also used to mark their pups, since when they're young, it's normal for the omega mother or father to try to cover them with their scent by placing them near it and cradling them. Omegas, like any breed, reach puberty. Unlike the rest of the breeds, this isn't a single event, as it's also their first "heat," a short period of time during which omegas are most fertile. Speaking of heat, we can also mention nests. Omegas—in the days leading up to heat—seem to be in a constant state of anxiety, which can lead them to try to adjust their environment to ensure their comfort.

OMEGAS social dynamics (part 3)

This varies from omega to omega. Some will just clean up a bit and prepare something they like, while others have been known to move entire rooms. Omegas with troubled pasts have even been seen to hide weapons near the place where they will be in heat. This can be alleviated, in the most extreme cases, by alpha hormone injections* or suppressants mentioned above. Their levels, as before, can range from high to medium to low. The biggest difference between them, besides lab tests, is the number of days their heat cycle can last, and how hard or tiring it will be for their bodies.
