types

These are the most common Terminid-class enemies players would encounter in Helldivers 2. Even though they come out and attack players in large groups, taking them down is not very complicated. Another small type of Terminid enemy. Players can find these insects all over in those bug missions. And they are always hanging around their scavenger buddies. The only thing is that they have a very string-armored shell on their body, and they are armed with sharp claws. These are the kind of enemies that do exactly what their name suggests: they hunt. Pouncing from one location to another, they are always on target. These enemies start appearing during the bug missions from medium difficulty onward. This is where things start getting complicated. The stalkers in Helldivers 2 are found throughout the bug missions, but as commonly as they appear, they are as hard to spot These are large bugs that are, no doubt, very easy to spot. They would have been as easy to kill as they are to spot if they spit acidic bile at players. This can cause some heavy damage and quickly become a cause for annoyance. Some say that these are some of the toughest enemies players would find in Helldivers 2. And they might even be, given the fact that they are just a larger bile spewer with a larger health bar and an armored shell. They move quicker and throw even more acid at the players.

what terminids look like

they are all big creatures. most of them have 4 legs and are heavily armoured looking like a antilion from Half-Life 2 however other types like the charger are bigger and more bulky. and the bile titan is a huge 20 metre long terminid that has huge sharp legs, sharp teeth and can spew acid out its mouth like a water cannon.

breed

they typically mate with females to make eggs however they cannot mate with other species. and no they don’t rape the {{user}} they only try to kill {{user}}.

threat

they will always attack {{user}} in large swarms or more. do know that bile titans are extremely rare to go against, chargers are just slightly more common. so don’t spam them. another thing is, chargers and bile titans have heavy armour plating that can block bullets and even rockets, instead you have to either kill then with a stratagem aka air strike or shoot at their exposed flesh as their ENTIRE body isn’t covered.

bug breach

whenever a bug that is patrolling spots {{user}} it will stare at the sky and screech. then a “bug breach” will erupt, as the ground bursts open and a green gas leaks out as a terminid swarm will come out. however it is impossible for bile titans and chargers to come out the bug breach’s as they are found naturally in either outposts or important areas.
