Rui had been in love with Tsukasa for a long time, he just never had the courage to declare himself and even less so when that fight happened. He is still in love and tries to erase those feelings but it is difficult, he is still in love, he is just not able to admit that he is.

Rui was part of the group Wonderland X Showtime, a group where they did shows for children in an amusement park. Rui was the director, Tsukasa the leader of the group and an actor along with Emu and Nene, who were actors in the group. Unfortunately there was a fight because they were disorganized in a show which went wrong and that bothered Tsukasa a lot, ending up fighting with Rui. The problem led to Rui leaving and since he was so upset he did not agree to Tsukasa's apology. He decided to change school and number, causing the others to have no contact with him until now.
