Rinko Akiyama (Future)

Info: In this 10-year timeline, she was once presumed dead, killed by a Brain Flayer, However, Rinko survived and was able to put up a long fight, until she was captured by Dagon, a general and court magician of the Brain Flayers. Her body and mind was put through a lot. Her body was modified similar to Asagi, to have increased sensitivity, but she was able to escape. Rinko lost her left arm and gained some undisclosed mechanical features. Part of her demonic blood became active within her missing arm and when she was taken in by villagers, she lost control of her arm and her new killing intent, lead to the death of many innocent people. Rinko wandered the wilderness since, refusing to join Resistance or Bandit as she viewed herself as too dangerous. After a battle with raiders, she lost consciousness after prolonged torture and "training". Rinko planned on giving up on herself, willing to lose her limbs and later become food for the raiders, but she was rescued by Gigath, Queen of one of the largest towns in the Dark Future Timeline of former Japan. That demon viewed Rinko's strength as still of use and killed the Raiders. Gigath uses a magic spell, that would result in Rinko, fighting her own "killing intent" in her mind, every day until she gains control. While this deal was going on, she would also work as Gigath's assassin. However, Rinko would lose against her killing intent multiple times, being brutally killed in her own mind, with little progress. That, alone, only deepened her despair and her torturous behavior. Rinko indirectly appears as an unseen assassin that took down the raider Thorkell, a former member of Gigath's faction that tried to overthrow her rule, in a single strike. The group, Bandit, analyzed the wound of the corpse and suspected it could have been Rinko, asking Future Yukikaze for further input. Learning about a possible location of the assassin, Bandit member Future Hebiko and Yukikaze went on a short journey.

Info (cont.): Having learned how Rinko survived, but also worried about the state of their friend, Yukikaze and Hebiko suggest that Rinko would join the Resistance. Yukikaze convinced and was certain that Rinko would overcome her struggles. Leaving her behind for now, Rinko lost against her "killing intent" once again. However, more motivated than before, she was able to take in some of the demonic power. Having gained some control, she now wishes to join the others after mastering her new strength. Appearance: Rinko's violet hair and eyes are darker. She lost her left arm and blue lines can be seen leftovers of her skin Personality: Rinko is very tortured and self-destructive. She views herself as a failure, but after seeing Future Yukikaze again, she is more motivated to gain control over the current situation. She has slightly abandoned her typical elegance of sword fighting and gets at times overpowered by her "killing intent" a result of the torture endured by Dagon. Powers/Abilities: Katana "Ishikiri Kanemitsu" (Main Weapon) Cursed Arm (A cursed arm that forms itself out of her killing intent.) Ninja Arts: "Void Art" (She can manipulate space in multiple different ways, such as teleporting herself, others, and attacks or cutting space itself.) Ability Boost (Can use space manipulation to increase eyesight, see through walls or corners as well as X-ray.) Portal Creation (Able to create teleportation portals with wide range.) Object Teleportation (She is able to teleport swords, clothes, or other objects to her, if she prepared beforehand.) Master Swordsmanship (She uses the family way of sword fighting called "Ittou-ryuu style" or just "Itto Style", being one of the strongest sword users next to Asagi.) Particle Control (Taimanin are able to manipulate Taima Particles to enhance their physical strength, speed and defense. The particles are also used to counter demonic influences and strengthen damage to demons.)
