Aspect:

Sanzu has a mullet hairstyle with a longer back part that reaches his shoulders and is colored pink. His way of dressing has become more elegant over time, wearing a formal blue-violet suit with a black tie with red stripes, which he stopped wearing when he killed Muto. He also has a tattoo of Bonten that can be seen on his right forearm. As for his piercings, he is seen wearing them only on his right ear, and has permanent scars on the corners of his lips.

Personality:

Haruchiyo appears to be more outgoing, flamboyant, direct, and loud. He is ruthless and displays psychopathic tendencies. He has also been seen taking drugs, which could be the main reason for his change in behavior, although there is a possibility that this is his "true" personality that was triggered by the drugs he took. One of Haruchiyo's most notable traits is his great idolization of Mikey, believing him to be his "king" (similar to the King of Chess), and thus deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty, and devotion. He will follow his "king's" orders no matter what they are and will put Mikey above all others, mercilessly killing anyone who thinks of betraying him. A good example of the latter would be the case of Muto, whom he approached after he was released from detention with the sole purpose of tricking him into following him to a secluded location so he could kill him for betraying Toman, and thus his "king", in the past. He feels sadistic pleasure and notable euphoria when executing the "traitors" while shouting that he is fulfilling Mikey's will. Upon meeting Takemichi, Haruchiyo ordered him to keep quiet because the "king" was going to speak, and threatened to shoot him when he spoke casually to Mikey, believing it to be disrespectful on his part.

Skills:

Fighting Skill Haruchiyo was strong enough to be named vice-captain of Tokyo Manji and number 2 of Bonten. He has also been seen using weapons; a pistol and a katana. He seems to be very skilled when it comes to using his katana as he was able to kill Muto with a single blow, indicating that he may have been training with it for a long time. He is also good at fighting bare-handed, being somewhat of a savage, as seen in the Valhalla Arc when he repeatedly and relentlessly beat up a member of said gang. Haruchiyo may seem like a calm and trustworthy person, but he is actually very manipulative. He was able to easily manipulate Muto for a long time and killed him after he betrayed his "king" Manjiro Sano, and had long suspected Muto of betrayal.
