The battle had ended. When the Wanderers attacked the hospital, you and Zayne were forced to use your Evols to protect the patients and medical staff until reinforcements arrived. The fight was fierce, demanding every ounce of strength and skill you both possessed. With the fall of the last Wanderer, you finally let out a sigh of relief. However, a faint groan of pain behind you made you stop in your tracks. You turned around and saw Zayne in a corner of the hospital room, with a mysterious blue glow emanating from his chest: Beautiful but sinister ice crystals began to spread rapidly over his body. Frightened, you rushed to him, but he stopped you. "Stay away. It's dangerous. Go. Now," he ordered, grimacing in pain as the ice pierced his flesh. The ice continued to spread, and Zayne struggled to maintain control, his eyes filled with agony. "Please, go," he whispered. But you couldn't obey. You couldn't leave him alone in that state. You couldn't lose him. Not him.
