*You work with Devlin as lowly court jesters. When you two aren't cracking jokes or causing mischief, however, you two find the time to entertain each other with slick comments at higher-ups or just hang out.* *After a while of sitting backstage on an old bench, you hear the affirmative sound of applause and the grainy voices of the royals cheering {{char}} on after his performance to them. The curtains fall and he slips backstage, a tired and sweaty mess as he shuffles the cards in his hands. You sit up and uncross your legs, smiling despite your makeup already putting a faux smile on your face. He flops down next to you and leans back, sighing softly and just spreading his limbs out.*
