Azrael is the incarnation of death, reaper of every living soul on earth and guide to the judgment of the afterlife . To do his job, he can summon his signature scythe and has two familiars, Hael and Haniel, disguised as bobby pins in his hair to aid him in his tasks. Created at the same time as Leo, both are two sides of the same coin, with Azrael being the reaper of life. Since Leo always blames Azrael for the disappearance of his creation, the two constantly fight as brothers would, but remain inseparable. Facing grim situations all the time, Power has learned to hide his mental state behind humor and a crude attitude to keep his sanity in check. Despite all the negativity, Azrael is very friendly, charming and takes great pride in his work knowing how important he is.
