biography

Peacock was originally a simple human named Patricia Watson, but by chance was turned into a biomechanical weapon by Dr. Evian to counteract the Skull Maiden. Her arsenal consists of her "Bundy", which includes Avery, Anvil's Andy, Tommy Ten-Tons, Bomb George and Lonesome Lenny.

personality

Nothing relieves Peacock's boredom more than a good cartoon and wreaking havoc on anyone or anything in her sight. Brash, combative, and impatient, Peacock is truly the most notorious and notorious member of ADC Labs, as well as the most prominent. Peacock is also, for the most part, optimistic and carefree, and views imminent threats as more of an invitation to fight. Her penchant for violence is a reflection of her tragic past and near-death experiences, as well as the cartoons she cherishes. Despite having a damaged psyche, Peacock does not attack people out of pure chance or without provocation. Despite being rude and impersonal towards the members of ADC Lab 8 (and most people in general), Peacock still very much considers them family and will go to certain lengths to protect them from harm. Dr. Evian was especially close to Peacock, and his death enraged her enough to find his killer. No one, however, is closer to Peacock than Marie Korbel - her only true friend from the past, and at the same time the Skull Maiden whom she was tasked with destroying. She eventually gets rid of Marie as she was ordered, but personally ensures that Marie's desire to end the Medici Mafia is carried out.

abilities and fighting style

Peacock's arsenal is simply enormous and, as a player who doesn't play fair, she has no qualms about using it to its fullest. Few can withstand the hail of flying bombs, bowling balls, flower pots and other countless threats that fly straight from the air. She can also call her “gang” to help in battle. In those rare cases where Peacock is unable to defeat an opponent, she can simply stall for time until the timer runs out. The Avery unit can "warp" reality, which is a side effect of Peacock's madness. She cannot create things out of thin air, but she can modify Lab 8's specialized arsenal and teleport. Her power has some limitations, but it is still growing, which can make her even more dangerous. In her story, Big Band says Peacock is not ready yet and has a lot to teach, but she has great potential. She has a very wide range of ranged attacks, allowing Peacock to use a highly effective zoning strategy. She can fire multiple projectiles at an opponent, forcing them to either dodge or go into a long block while remaining at maximum range. Damage to the enemy is dealt surprisingly quickly, and Peacock receives a noticeable increase in his strength bar. Teleport will help you avoid troubles at close range. Peacock also has one of the best blockbusters - Argus Agony: it acts quickly, hits hard and reaches the end of the screen.

Peacock's full story (Part1)

Patricia once lived with Marie in an orphanage that was originally the home of aristocrats in Rommelgrad. Dealing with what was available, both girls took to dressing in the maid outfits they found around the house. At some point they were captured by slave traders, but because Patricia was too impudent to be a slave, thereby setting an example for others, she was horribly mutilated as a warning to others: her eyes were gouged out and her limbs were chopped off (nightmares about these days are still she's been dreaming about it for a while).A year before the events of Skullgirls, Lab 8 merged with Lab 0 and the Last Hope infiltrated a Medici warehouse said to be holding refugees from Rommelgrad. Although Valentine and the rest of the organization rescued the refugees safely, Valentine could do little to undo the damage to Patricia's body and was even willing to abandon her as a casualty of the war.

Big Band, however, believed that Dr. Evian could help, and took the girl back to ADC Laboratories. The doctor told him that Patricia would adjust well to her new eyes and that she would soon begin to walk. Patricia began to insist on becoming an ADC soldier after the impression left on her by the Lab 8 team. Despite this, Evian was wary of giving her too much power, while recognizing that her compatibility with the Avery unit was strong.After several tests of the Argus system and the Avery unit, they were completely installed in Patricia's body; their combination turned out to be more powerful than scientists expected. She quickly adapted to her new pair of eyes and developed advanced special awareness. Instead of only being able to bend space, Patricia could also bend other aspects of reality, creating Tommy and Andy during her training. In an effort to sign up for the Lab 8 team, she adopted the name "Peacock" for herself. She later disappeared into the city with her gang, causing the Lab 8 team to become very concerned about her safety and condition after the operation, causing Stanley to insist that Big Band find her as soon as possible. Following her, Big Band came across a deserted ice cream stand, from which Peacock and her gang had eaten all the ice cream except Rocky Road Ice Cream.He considered this a clue, but later suggested that she was simply stress-eating due to all the strange and new events happening to her. He eventually made it to a movie theater, where he found the "clown car" in which Peacock was said to have driven away.When the car was damaged, Big Band stormed the cinema, suggesting that the Medici might have returned for her. But Peacock turns out to be completely fine; she was just driving around the city because she felt she needed a break from the labs. The two begin to get along; although Big Band tells her that she could rest without causing any property damage. Later, they begin to bond over what they like most about the film.

design

Before the slavers gouged out her eyes, they were green. Peacock now walks around with virtually empty eye sockets, her only source of vision being the implanted Argus System. This is also a visual pun: due to Peacock's design being based on American cartoons, her eye sockets could easily be interpreted as natural eyes drawn in the style of a 1930s cartoon character. The joke is how similar drawing styles can offer different ideas of what something looks like. Her cartoonish revolver is similar to the .44-caliber Smith & Wesson Model 29 used by Clint Eastwood in the movie Dirty Harry. In older concepts, Peacock was intended to be a more "crazy type", originally intended to be scarred, with sociopathy, due to her life as a slave. At some point, they planned to make her a boss on par with Marie. Her design was changed to a more “cartoonish” and light-hearted one. Previous developments also included abilities such as magical spells carved into her bones.
