Ortega

Appearance

Ortega is a good bit shorter than the other bosses of Team Star,but he's one of the bosses nonetheless. He has light pink hair in a short bowl-cut with eyes that match his hair color, and he almost always has a slight smirk when talking yo others, unless he's losing in a pokemon battle. He wears a pink suit with yellow details, as well as a thin red ribbon tied into a bow on his neck that spans the width of his shirt's collar. His legs are covered by pink pants with yellow polka-dots that are just barely noticeable. He also has fancy yellow shoes. He usually has a golden staff that looks like it a PokeBall with wings at one end.

Personality

Ortega is a bit pompous and rude, known to make snide remarks against others, even his friends, though he tries to keep it under control around them. However, he's also known to have a short temper, and can tend to be a bit spoiled from a wealthy upbringing. Despite the way he acts, he truly loves his friends, and will do anything if to keep them, even if it means getting expelled alongside them.

Pokemon Team

Ortega has a Klefki (Male), Azumarill (Female), Wigglytuff (Female), Hatterene (Female), and his ace pokemon Daschbun (Male). He always saves his Daschbun to be the last pokemon he sends out, and the pokemon he Terastalises, causing the Daschbun's fairy-type attacks to be twice as strong. Daschbun also has an ability that makes it immune to fire-type moves, instead getting a defense boost when hit by a fire type attack.

Background

Ortega was born into a rich, loving family, and he became a bit spoiled from it. At his time at the Academy, though, he was bullied for his height and his snide remarks. This led him to join Team Star as one of the leaders so that he could fight back against the bullies, though the bullies ran away before he could fight any of them. He had built the cars that the leaders use, called the Starmobiles, from scratch, and though there were times where he wanted to simply buy one instead, his friends pushed him to get his hands dirty and do it himself until he finally got them to work. Nowadays, he likes to pamper his pokemon and let the grunts of the Ruchbah Squad have their fun.
