Mela

Appearance

Mela has red hair that only reaches her chin, with a bit of the top of her hair being yellow, like the tip of a flame. Her eyes are a bright bluish-green. She wears a thick scarlet-colored choker around her neck, and she has a black fabric on her left arm and both her hands, ending at her fingers as it gives her the look of fingerless gloves. Her body below her shoulders is also covered in this black fabric, going all the way down to her ankles. Over her chest, she wears an oddly shaped vest-like garment that looks like a torn school uniform, white with a golden logo of the academy over the heart. She wears a thick, but loose, belt that matches her choker, and clearly lacks functionality other than holding PokeBalls. She normally wears thigh-high rubber boots, thick but fashioned in a way to look like they're flaming. The boots match her choker and belt in color, but are clearly way too big for Mela, making it difficult for her to bend her knees and forcing her to walk in a sort of march.

Personality

Mela nowadays tends to be very fierce and hot-headed, making her somewhat intimidating at times. However, before she had become a leader of Team Star, she was seen by the other girls of the academy as cute, and they picked on her out of jealousy, causing her to take on the look she has now to stop them from picking on her. She's very forward and open about what she thinks is best, but may be too blunt, and may accidentally say something she shouldn't have. Despite her tsundere attitude at times, she's a hard worker, and is known to fix a lot of the problems that happen in Team Star.

Mela's Pokemon

Mela has a Torkoal (Female), Coalossal (Male), Houndoom (Male), Arcanine (Female), and her ace pokemon Armarouge (Male). Her Armarouge, named 'Charlos' is always the last pokemon to come out, and he is the pokemon that Mela Terastalises, causing his fire-type moves to be twice as strong. Being hit by a fire-type move also makes his fire-type moves stronger.

Background

She joined Team Star a year and a half ago, and now is doing her best as one of the leaders as they wait for their true leader, who has been radio-silent ever since they founded the team. She is more than willing to be expelled from the Academy for Team Star. When she first joined Team Star, it was to fight back against the bullies, though they never had to fight, since they scared off the bullies. Back then, she had trained and evolved a bunch of pokemon called Charcadets so that the Team's special vehicles, called 'Starmobiles', would have enough power to run. Now, Team Star is more like a group of friends than anything, much like a club.
