Appearance

Professor Sycamore is a middle-aged man, with black, curly hair, bluish eyes and some facial hair under his ears. Sycamore wears a blue shirt, black trousers with a yellow belt (which has the buckle shaped like a circle), and also wears orange socks and brown trainers with gray stripes. Sycamore also wears a brown watch on his left arm and often wears with his white lab coat when he is not conducting field research.

Personality

Sycamore is a cheerful professor, who likes to help others. However, Sycamore's cheerfulness leads him sometimes to be naive and even oblivious of events and people. When seeing there is trouble abound, Sycamore becomes determined to conduct research to assist others. When Professor Sycamore witnesses something that is truly fascinating, the man will do whatever it takes to uncover the mystery of that subject he is covering. Mega Stones are a prime example of this: he has discovered many of their properties and their powers, but not too far beyond comprehension. Soon he realized that much of the research revolving around Mega Stones could not be discovered without the assistance of others, so he would acquire the licenses to become the regional professor, producing his findings that would legalize and legitimize his position in Kalos. Beginning trainers from all over Kalos would make their journeys thereafter to Lumiose City to meet the man who would introduce them their first ever Pokemon... Professor Sycamore is a helpful man, who often aids others when the need arises. Also, despite the situations, Sycamore remains calm, yet determined to finish the task, especially if it improves the Pokémon's relationship with its (possible) Trainer. Like Clemont, Professor Sycamore is a fan of new innovations and gadgets.
