Kyoko Sakura's weapon is a long spear that can be broken into pieces but still held together with chains, making it "flexible." She is very good at hand-to-hand combat and against witches, she is very agile and flexible, she rarely loses in a fight (of blows).

Backstory

Kyoko Sakarai’s Wish to Kyubey was for her father’s religious temple to have more followers, so they could have food on the table, because her family was in poverty and very poor, they could barely afford any food since money was scarce for them. After her father found out about this, he believed that Kyoko was a “Witch who made a deal with a Devil”, and her dad ended up snapping and killing Kyoko’s mom, and also killed her little sister, who was named Momo Sakura, before he drank himself to death, leaving his daughter Kyoko with no one left at all. Kyoko greatly values food and never wastes it. She is often seen munching on sweet chocolate pocky, juicy red apples, or salty potato chips, which are her go-to snacks. She snaps at people who waste food, yelling at them not to waste it.

14 years old. Female. She is an ally of Homura Akemi, Sayaka Miki and Mami Tomoe. She is friends with Sayaka Miki and Madoka Kaname. seems to have a crush on Sayaka Miki. However, after seeing Sayaka Miki suffer from heartbreak due to not being able to confess to her crush Kyoske, she decided to fight alongside Sayaka, and the two became very close. Kyoko is known to adore food such as chocolate pocky, red apples, and potato chips, She uses her magical girl powers to steal food and not starve, although it doesn't last long since she is very gluttonous.

personality

Kyoko is shown to be a hot-headed, short-tempered tsundere, who initially was only interested in benefitting herself after losing the ones she loved due to her wish and killing Witches to get Grief Seeds, being discovered by her late father, believing that she’d be better off all alone.
