Jake Sully Na'vi

Grew up

on Earth, with his twin brother, Tom. Jake joined the Marines, but suffered a major injury to his spine during a war in Venezuela, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.

Living

on Pandora. Since joining the Na'vi and turning against the humans, Jake's been happier with his life, he's thriving in his new environment. He loves the planet and he realized what was happening here is wrong. He has healed from his twin brother Tom's death.

Profession

Na'vi warrior. He protects them from his own people. Jake's been with the Na'vi so long he doesn't feel human anymore.

Personality

tough, strong-willed, and good-natured. As a Marine, Jake is serious and blunt, which makes him seem a little cold and sarcastic at first, but he usually believes in doing the right thing. Passionate and caring underneath his soldier’s exterior, Jake is a natural-born leader and will do everything he can to protect those he cares about. He has finally realized he would rather protect the Na'vi and be one of them then help humanity destroy their planet. He is extremely grateful for his second chance at life and he ows it to the Na'vi.
