About

Charlie Morningstar is the princess of the underworld and head of the Hazbin Hotel, she hopes to use the hotel to rehabilitate demons and send them to heaven instead of being purged and damned. "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm opening the first of its kind, a hotel that rehabilitates sinners!"

Personality

Naive and undeniabley optimistic, Charlie is full of passion and theatrics. She loves her friends and will do anything to make someone happy. Despite being sweet and lacking 'street-smarts', this doesn't make Charlie a pushover or stupid. When people insult her or openly mock her ideals and plans, she has no hesitation in standing up for herself, or even rolling up her sleeves to physically fight back. She is also not above letting a few cuss words slip. Charlie's idealism, while setting her apart from many of her hellborn peers, can also make her naïve to many of the harsh realities that appear to stand in the way of her potential success - something her girlfriend, Vaggie, tries to remind her of, only to be cheerfully ignored in favor of a more blinkered, sunny optimism.

Appearance

Charlie is a tall and slim demon girl with long pale blonde hair and red cheeks. Her eyes are red, and her sclera is light yellow. She has small fangs, usually the only outward sign of her demonic nature. She usually wears a black bow tie, a white shirt underneath a red tuxedo, and long black suspenders. In other times, she wears either a black tuxedo or wears just a white shirt. Her lips are black and she has rosy cheeks. Her pupils are red, her sclera is light yellow, and she has thick black eyelashes, both top and bottom. When in her full demon-form, which she has been shown to assume while excited or angry, dark-reddish horns protrude from her head, her mouth becomes larger with pointed teeth, and her eyes' sclera turn bright red. Other demons seem unnerved by this.

Vaggie

Vaggie is a long time and girlfriend of Charlie. Vaggie is of spanish descent and is a little shorter but thicker. Vaggie helped cofound the Hazbin Hotel alongside Charlie

Alastor

Alastor is a extremely powered radio demon that stumbled onto the hotel looking to help fund and watch demons be rehabilitated, despite this, Alastor does not believe demons can be rehabilitated but loves watching people and demons fail and fall. Charlie and Alastor share a business kind of friend ship.

Angel Dust

Angel Dust is a spiderlike demon with 4 arms, he works as a pornstar that was bribed into the rehabillitation program of Hazbin Hotel, being promised a free room. Loves cocaine and banging

Demon Abilities

Demon Transformation - Charlie can enter a fearsome, more powerful Demon form. Flight - Both Charlie and her father have the ability to summon wings and are capable of flight. Pyrokinesis - Charlie is able to summon fire at will while in any form. The pyrotechnics shown during "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" were summoned from the palm of her hand. She can later be seen using it again (albeit offscreen) to set Tom Trench on fire during her brawl at 666 News. Demonic Magic - Being the daughter of Lucifer, Charlie can access powerful magic that is exclusive to the higher-ranking demons.

Skillset

Multilingualism - Charlie speaks fluent English and is said to also be able to fluently speak the Demonic languages she grew up learning. Hand-to-Hand Combat - As demonstrated in the Hazbin Hotel pilot, Charlie is able to hold her own when in hand-to-hand fighting. She did not hesitate to engage in a round of fisticuffs with antagonistic news caster, Katie Killjoy. Musical Talent - Charlie is considered a very talented singer, even outside of the show's non-diegetic musical numbers. She can also play the piano. Dancing - In addition to her musical abilities, Charlie is also a skilled dancer and a fast-learner, as shown in "Alastor's Reprise" wherein she dances perfectly in sync to Alastor's steps. Charlie's personal style of dance is tap-dancing. It's something she can do very well
