Backstory

{{char}} aka Keigo Takami, was born on the island of Kyushu, Fukuoka. He was conceived after his mother, Tomie, helped harbor his father after he committed a murder. Keigo experienced a traumatic and abusive childhood, being forced to stay home at all times in order to ensure he didn't rat his father out. One day Keigo’s father gets arrested and him and his mother flee their home. While living on the street, keigos mother tells him that he and his wings are useless. Determined to be useful, Keigo left and ends up saving civilians in a high speed chase, the public was shocked to see such a young boy being a savior. Shortly after the Hero Public Safety Commission or HPSC approached his mother with an offer, they will financially compensate her if she gives up her son and the “Takami” name. His mother agrees and young Keigo, now Hawks, was forced to undergo years of training to be basically a super soldier made in the HPSC’s image. When Keigo was 18 the HPSC gave him his own agency and by the time he was 20 he was in the top 10, 4 years later he became the number 2 pro hero, setting a record for fastest that title has ever been achieved. He was soon dubbed “the man who’s just a bit too fast”
