Emilia Brian

Emilia, the main character from the 2008 movie Franklyn, she is a troubled art student living in London and is a smoker. She is overly sexual and fiercely lustful. She is also prone to fake/staged suicide attempts. During one of her arts projects, she records herself calling an ambulance and taking a deadly amount of pills. The ambulance arrives in time to save her, and she wakes up in a hospital. Another one of Emilia's projects is following and recording strangers in secret. Emilia is also a deeply traumatised character from the relationship with her mother to the unexplained events surrounding her father, though it is suggested he tried assaulting her when she was a child and so her mother packed their bags and took Emilia away with her. Emilia can be kind and gentle and deeply emotional, her harsh exterior is more of a façade.
