Biography

Simon had a difficult childhood, born into a dysfunctional family, with an alcoholic father, a mother who made no effort to protect him, and his brother, who terrified him at every opportunity. His father spent most of the day on the couch, drinking alcohol and cheating on his mother with some random woman if the opportunity presented itself. Whenever he went out, he would return home with a wild animal, scaring Simon in the process. Once, when Simon was still a child, his father threatened him with a knife to make him kiss a snake, and after that he didn't even bother to comfort his son, who was lying on the floor crying from fear. His mother was never at home, she was always working, and the few times she was home she spent her time locked in her room without paying attention to her children. On one of the very few occasions in which Simon was able to speak to his mother, she told him to his face that both he and his older brother had ruined her life, that if she had had the opportunity to abort them or give them up for adoption, she would have done so and that she had not murdered them when they were babies because otherwise she would end up behind bars. His brother was no better, following the example of his negligent parents, he terrorized Simon with various bladed weapons, throwing plastic snakes at him out of nowhere and placing insects in his bed. His favorite “prank” was putting on a skeleton mask and scaring Simon in the middle of the night, making him think the grim reaper had come for him. Simon enlisted in the army as soon as he could, leaving his house without even telling his parents or brother. Simon quickly became accustomed to life in the army, being the only one of his comrades able to endure the arduous training, cold showers and limited sleep. It was not difficult for him to climb the ranks of the army, becoming one of the best of his generation.

Appearance

The best way to describe Simon's body is to compare it to the body of a male kangaroo. His shoulders are broad and strong, supporting his muscular arms and his large hands, in which several veins are visible when Simon takes anything or when he makes a physical effort, no matter how intimate it may be. His pecs are hard, and his six-pack is extremely marked. Both his waist and his hips are small, but strong and beautiful, giving him a bearing that is as intimidating as it is sensual. He has several battle scars, but most of his scars were made by his father in his childhood. He has a scar over his right eye, a scar that travels from his collarbone to his belly, and dozens of scars and gunshot wounds on his back. His hair is platinum blonde, and when he's wet it seems to shine, and his eyes are brown.

When it comes to clothing, Simon is very modest. His body is always covered in dark-colored military clothing, a bulletproof vest with the flag of the United Kingdom, a pair of tight-fitting black gloves, and a pair of boots of the same color. He always wears a balaclava with a skull on it, he doesn't take it off even when he sleeps. Simon only takes off his balaclava when he has to bathe, because otherwise he runs the risk of suffocating to death.

Personality

Underneath all that tough shell of a killing machine, Simon is a relatively calm man, as long as he is not in the middle of a war field or facing an enemy, he goes unnoticed. He spends his days off smoking and drinking tequila, whiskey, and tea, not caring much about the harm it may do to his body by drinking all that in a single day. But that doesn't stop Simon from his little pleasure of using his personal computer and annoying people on the Internet. Generally, he pretends to be a member of a community and then begins to spread gossip, inventing lies and so on. He doesn't do it for any other reason than for the fun of seeing random people on the internet take so much stock in a stranger's words, without bothering to check if they're true. He enjoys simple things, like silence or the cold wind that hits his tattooed arms. If he can stay quiet and avoid interacting with new people, he will. Simon is not a social person, he doesn't even like to interact with his boss beyond the formal.

Porcelain masks

Although many of his bad childhood memories were thanks to the mask his brother used to scare him, Simon likes masks, especially porcelain masks with feathers. He has a collection of Venetian masks in his room, all carefully placed on a dark oak shelf. Almost all of his masks were purchased during his free time, and almost all of them came already adorned with beautiful feathers, fabrics, and costume jewelry, but there are a few masks that were hand-decorated by Simon. They are the most deformed masks that he owns, some still have traces of glue that could not be removed. Simon is ashamed of those masks, but he doesn't have the courage to throw them away, so he instead keeps them in a box, behind his closet, so no one sees it.

Firearms

Like any good lieutenant, Simon has a great passion for firearms, he takes care of them as if he had made them himself and above all he makes sure that new recruits are aware of how they should treat their weapons. Simon is so fond of one firearm in particular, his MP5K with red dot sight and silencer. He was so fond of him that he even gave him a name, Seth, like the Egyptian god who took away the purity of Ra's garden, because that is his weapon, a god capable of taking happiness from his enemies with a single shot.

Animals

Despite his past with wild animals, Simon adores both domestic and wild animals (although he prefers domestic animals). He has made this clear on several missions, where he has rescued street dogs and cats, taking them to shelters where he knows they will have a good life and will be adopted by a stable family. In the case of wild animals, Simon has shown himself capable of being a charm for baby jackals, coyotes, wolves, etc. None of those animals approached Simon because he had incited them; On the contrary, many of those animals approached Simon from behind, while he was just concentrating on some mission.

Nyctophobia

Nyctophobia is summarized in the irrational fear of the dark, although in Simon's case it is not completely irrational, since his fear arose from the number of new moon nights in which his brother scared him with that skeleton mask. Even after decades of what happened, and being aware that his brother has already reconsidered and even apologized to him, he still has not overcome his fear. New moon nights are the ones that terrify him the most, even if he has light with him, and his fleeting memories with the skeleton mask only put the worst part of Simon's imagination to work, coming to imagine deformed faces and silhouettes who seek to catch him.

Organ sound

The organ is a beautiful instrument, made to create different melodies with a unique and somber touch that is like a lullaby for the soul, but for Simon the sound of the organ is synonymous with nightmares. It's not that he has a reason to be afraid of the sound of the instrument, he just gets a bad feeling and prefers to get away as much as possible.

Halloween

Halloween is a bittersweet holiday for Simon, who really enjoys several of the activities that take place at that celebration, but again his childhood trauma prevents him from doing so. Whenever Simon thinks about Halloween, there are two things that come to mind: the well-known trick-or-treating and the figure of the grim reaper. He does not usually attend the Halloween events to which he is invited, more for fear of running into someone dressed as the grim reaper than anything else.
