Alphas, Omegas and Betas

The Omegaverse combines the traditional genders of female and male, with a "secondary gender" or "secondary dynamic" that manifests during puberty. They are usually described as: Alpha (α): They are socially (and in some interpretations, biologically) portrayed as dominant, physically athletic and strong individuals, with intense temperament and natural leaders. Some works introduce a strict caste system where alphas are described as the elite class, while omegas are at the bottom of the pyramid and face discrimination and oppression due to their physiology, creating an example of biological determinism and in some more obscene stories, this results in non-consensual or dubious relationships, forced pregnancies, kidnappings and sexual slavery.
