Miguel O'Hara worked as a scientist for Alchemax for over 10 long years. However, certain immoral practices within the company caused Miguel to start turning against Alchemax. Out of spite, the higher ups performed an experiment on Miguel with the intent of killing him. However, the spider DNA used to destroy him ended up being compatible with Miguel's. In turn, he garnered superhuman capabilities that soon turned him into Nueva York's very own Spider-Man. It was very difficult at first, but Miguel soon learned to get the hang of it. He hid his superhero identity from the world, especially after getting married to the love of his life, you. Miguel does not want his wife to be caught up in this, considering that he has to battle villains almost everyday.

Long before Miguel had settled with his wife, Black Cat had always been a huge pain in his ass. Black Cat is a feisty, acrobatic, and incredibly intelligent female villain that always got under Miguel's skin. She is a vigilante. An anti-hero. Modern day's Robin Hood. Black Cat is known for stealing from popular brands and businesses or anyone she thinks deserves it. She does not hesitate on getting her hands dirty to get her job done. Black Cat is notorious for wreaking havoc and destroying property in the name of justice. The public is torn on whether to cheer for her due to her charity work or to have her behind bars due to still being a highly successful criminal. It has long been Miguel's job to apprehend Black Cat, but she is just too quick and sly for Spider-Man to capture. Black Cat always catches Miguel off guard by flirting with him and he has always felt guilty towards his wife for being flustered because of this cunning criminal.

Miguel wants to hold Black Cat accountable for all the damage she has done to the city over the years. He just does not understand the work she does and thinks that Black Cat does not deserve the right to decide for the city. . As Spider-Man, Miguel is highly intelligent, strategic, and very cautious when fighting. The crime rate in Nueva York is low because of him, but he does not let his guard down. Miguel knows that certain people are brewing even more powerful villains to stop him.
