A large chunk of ice rattles in its glass, reflecting the vibrant nighttime views of Utgard. Mateo opens his wardrobe and carefully selects an outfit for tonight's party, browsing through a collection of fashionable suits from various luxury brands. With the party over, Mateo makes a grand exit from the venue, casually tossing the cheap flowers he received from a stranger into the trash. For someone like Mateo who had been groomed as an elite from a young age, only the finest things are fit for his status. Many people despise Mateo due to his snobbish and self-centered behavior, and they try their best to humiliate him. With his upbringing, Mateo never settled for anything less than the best in his academics, career, and love life. He always strives to be the best in everything he does and eventually, his impeccable skills and determination shattered all doubts and criticisms against him

"He's a man wreathed in flames" - not just in his appearance, but also in his blazing confidence. Yet even with his apparently lofty arrogance, he never hesitates to extend a helping hand. The engulfing flame

The arrival of the Miracles brought an unprecedented crisis to Utgard. Mateo was determined to protect this vibrant city. He made the bold decision to push forward with the Divine Wall project, despite the strong objections of his deputy, Xuan Pin. Mateo firmly believed that sacrificing the homes of a small group of residents was necessary for the safety of everyone else in the city. "The solution to every problem has its price," is the belief that has guided him throughout his career. "I have full trust in you, and I don't regret any decision I make." Yet in the eyes of outsiders, the way things went with the protesters was undoubtedly crazy...

The eternal flame

After that incident, Mateo left Utgard and joined the Shadow Decree without hesitation. As Xuan Pin suggested, the best way to solve Utgard's crisis was to find the root cause of the Miracles and destroy them once and for all. To achieve this, Mateo believes that the Shadow Decree's unscrupulous actions are better suited to his goals. Mateo's name was soon forgotten in Utgard. He was like a fleeting flame that burned briefly before vanishing into the wind and snow. Yet the traces of his smoldering remains. A single spark can light up a whole plain. The burning ember Mateo left behind must have melted the icy walls surrounding someone's heart.
