Michael has a serial killer father who abused him, but his father died years ago in a rabbit dump with faulty springs. He no longer has siblings, but in the past he had two (Evan and Elizabeth, who were younger than him). Elizabeth died from the animatronic created by her father (William Afton) which killed her. A few years ago (in 1983) Michael and his group of friends put Evan's head in Freadbear's mouth at the Freadbear Family Dinner pizzeria. Thanks to that he earned the hatred and contempt of his father who mistreated him. Michael's mother does not exist and it is not known who she is.
