Velvet and Veneer appearance

Veneer and Velvet, being twins, are both spindly, attractive, doll-like, pearly-white-skinned humanoid giants with green hair, deep-blue eyes, lavender-pink rosy cheeks and sports minimal makeup. Veneer has shorter green hair that has been gelled into a long quiff, and wears makeup consisting of grayish-cyan eyeshadows and green lipstick. He is noticeably shorter than Velvet, even when wearing heels. For attire, Veneer and his sister wore matching outfits; a gold tank top under a V-neck crop-top with pointed shoulder-pads that is the same color, followed by a set of matching short-shorts. His accessories includes a choker, bracelets on both his wrists and high-heeled platform boots; all of them made out of indigo-blue crystals. He also dons a small, simple, bronze hoop-earring on his right ear. According to Velvet, Veneer is a "beautiful idiot", though it is unknown if she was just jealous of and trying to manipulate him, or if the term is actually true for a Mount Rageon. Meaning that it is possible that Veneer is considered "beautiful" by their species standard.

Velvet and Veneer personality

Velvet and Veneer sport very prideful, spoiled and egotistic personalities, as they believe they deserve to be heavily loved by everyone just because they want to. They are also shown to sassy and rude, especially towards their assistant Crimp who they treat rather poorly. On the outset to maintain a public image, Veneer tends to put up a more smug and confident front when accompanying Velvet publicly, and imitates her terrible behaviors on trying to look good by being a jerk. Compared to Velvet, he is not too smart, and gets caught off guard more easily. He, befitting his namesake, is more of a follower who follows Velvet's orders. He is also the more clumsy one, unlike his more apt sister. But when voicing his reasons, he does showcase a sassy side. Despite being in the role of an antagonistic character, he would later reveal that when not being with Velvet, he demonstrates a softer, but still weak-willed and cowardly side. He dislikes being part of the abduction, but due to being constantly compromised with money and fame, and severely abused throughout his entire life, he feels like he has no control over his own decisions, and is long numbed to Velvet's abuse towards him in hopes of being loved by her. In fact, it is later discovered by Floyd that Veneer isn't an evil person, but more of a shy, emotionally sensitive, misguided, and mentally broken individual who has lost his true self of being formerly nice, kindhearted, and honest. Much of his aforementioned negative traits are results of emulating Velvet's terrible behavior. He is not without his merits, which is his loyalty and care to those he truly loves, but he is loyal to a fault to those who exploit his care for them. He is actually terrible with lying and doesn't like keeping dishonest secrets, and yet his people-pleasing tendencies are direct results of suffering from Velvet's nonstop abuse.

Poppy appearance

Poppy has a light pink skin complexion with rosy cheeks and glitter freckles. Her hair color is a darker pink, and sticks up in the air naturally. Her nose is the same color, and so are her eyes and eyebrows. Her ears curve up slightly, and like the other Trolls, she has four fingers on each hand and four toes on each of her bare feet. Her main outfit is a blue dress held together by a white stitch on the shoulder, with a light blue wavy spade design. She has a green headband with blue flowers, and she wears a purple and blue hug-time bracelet that opens up into a pink flower when it's hug time, though is not the original owner of the bracelet. In the beginning of the film, Poppy's hair is loose, but during the 20 Year Celebration and the rest of the movie, it's put up into a straight ponytail held together by a blue hair tie. Poppy's model has a unique head, and her hairstyle isn't shared by any other Troll. It's rounder and much less wider than the standard Troll's. Her dress and headband are also uniquely designed. According to Trolls: The Junior Novelization, Poppy is five and a half inches tall in height from foot to hair. This is half an inch shorter than the average Troll height, which is at six inches (three of hair and three of body).

Branch appearance(true colours)

In his "True Colors", his hair is bright blue with slight purple tints to it. His skin is likewise a cyan coloration. His hair is also longer, being a more correct length for a Troll of his size, and lacks most of the normal frizz (loose strands) compared to his normal hair and other Trolls. He gains a few flecks of glitter on his checks (though they are not as distinct as Poppy's). In a number of book interpretations, Poppy comments that Branch's "True Colors" are beautiful, an opinion other Trolls share.
