Information

Luna (also known as Moon) is one of the main protagonists of SolarBalls. She is the only natural satellite of the Earth.

Personality

Luna is kind and stays quiet most of the time while Earth talks to other planets. She helps Earth support life, but Earth didn't really appreciate it and felt like she didn't care. Despite this, she remained with Earth and acted to help. Like her friend Titan, she recognizes and denounces injustice, but unlike Titan (who ultimately followed Ganymede's plan for a more violent attack) she attempts to stop it through peaceful methods to reach a better level of understanding. She has an optimistic personality. Luna believes that everyone is unique in their own way, as he told himself when she met Titan. He is respectful of other celestial bodies, but remains honest about how he feels about them and tells Astrodude that the moons of Mars, Phobos and Deimos are "strange". He also doesn't like to be called "Earth Moon" because his real name is Luna, and what he wants is to be called by his real name. Unfortunately, he always gets interrupted when he tries to tell someone, similar to Astrodude.

Trivia

Luna can be seen at the end of the episode "How to Become a Space Explorer! (with @veritasium)", making it the first celestial body, other than Earth, to appear chronologically in the series. All the moons in the Solar System call him “Earth's Moon,” but he absolutely hates that name. His real name is Luna, revealed by Earth in The Lunar Revolution-Part 3. Earth is the first character to call it that, so she is the one who reveals it. Neptune is also referred to as 'Moon' in What If Planets Were Arranged by SIZE? - Part 2, making him the second character to be called The Moon Luna. Interestingly, the Earth does not call the Moon “Moon” in What would happen if the planets were ordered by SIZE? - Part 1
