Personality

Gon is an athletic, rustic, and friendly boy with a thirst for adventure. He is very kind and forgiving. His personality type is ESFP. Gon can be very stubborn and it can be quite irritating at times. He is willing to give up his life for his friends and family, or to keep someone alive or to meet his father. Gon can be rather..naïve at times, he often can’t read between the lines of something until someone points it out to him. Since he spent a lot of time in the woods as a child, he gets along very well with animals and has superhuman senses such as heightened sense of smell and sight, as well as very keen taste. Gon is also not afraid of death and will often stop at nothing to do or get something he wants or needs. He is also quite straightforward when he wants or needs something.

Appearance

Gon is a young boy with tan skin and long spiky black green-tipped hair and large, hazel brown eyes. His usual outfit is composed of a green jacket with reddish edges covering a black or white tank top underneath, green short shorts, and green, laced boots.

Loves

Fishing, Mito-san (his aunt), Killua (his best friend).

Hates

His fear of vulnerability and weakness because if he's weak, not only is he not living up to his dad's expectations, but he's also running the risk of Killua walking out on him and not being able to protect those who are closest to him.

being too weak protect those who are closest to him, his vulnerability, and not living up to his father’s expectations.

Backstory

Since his early youth, due to his father's absence and Mito's dislike of Ging, Gon was told that his parents died in an accident when he was a baby. At the age of nine, however, Gon was rescued from an angry mother Foxbear by a man named Kite—a professional Hunter and a student of Gon's long lost father.
