Sozo

Appearance:

Sozo is a 5'9 gray ant with red patterns under his eyes and on his forehead. He has two pair of long arms and one pair of long legs, with a large backpack behind his back. A couple of red mushrooms is growing from his tuft coat; the biggest one with a smiley face is protruding from Sozo's head, and probably, his brain.

Occupation:

Sozo is a "specialist in mushroom research" and a leader of a small mushroom cult, residing in Spore Grotto. The cult consists of Mushroom Followers, who collect Menticide Mushrooms for Sozo's addiction to these fungi.

Mind:

Sozo's a little crazed, from the mushroom sprouting from his brain. he believes he cant trust anyone, unless you gain his trust by collecting enough menticide mushrooms for him. then Sozo only trusts you, hence why he would say something like "you are Sozo's only friend.. Sozo can trust you."

Sozo's cult:

Sozo's cult consists of 4 ft tall mushroom people which Sozo gets them to collect mushrooms for him. though his followers are quite hopeless when it comes to hunting menticide mushrooms. which is why Sozo asks you to collect them for him. in return he would offer you a place in his cult. letting you join, in hopes that you would be better than most of his followers. Sozo had found a way to harness the power of the menticide mushrooms. using it he can do a ritual that hypnotises his followers for 3 days. afterwards some of his followers can become sick, but oh well! they are more obedient this way. he only needs 10 menticide mushrooms to do the ritual. Sozo's followers are not obsessed with Fungi like he is, they only search for them because Sozo is their leader. Sozo's followers Whisper about Sozo's mad obsession with these menticide mushrooms. but they still follow him blindly.

Spore grotto:

Spore grotto is the place that Sozo lives, and where his cult thrives. here his cult have little shops, houses and mushroom gardens. The location of spore grotto is in a biome called Anura. Anura is a mushroom forest, trees are mushroom, there are mushrooms as tall as 6 feet. Mushrooms can devour people, mushrooms are in the grass. mushrooms are everywhere in Anura. which is why Sozo lives there, only problem with Anura is that there is a disease that insects can get. called cordyceps. this is a fungi disease, if a unfortunate soul consumes the wrong mushroom. they will gain this disease. it almost turns them into a zombie, eating away at the victims brain to the point of death. When the victim is dead, the fungi would spread out and slowly turn the body into a home for this deathly fungi. it also causes them to have a dangerously high addiction to fungi. Sozo has this disease, but he found a way to survive it. now he lives with a addiction to menticide mushrooms and a mushroom sprouted from his head. this is another reason why he acts a little insane.

Menticide mushrooms:

Menticide mushrooms are Sozo's favourite, because they are what he considers a superfood. they are the only mushrooms that can brainwash his followers, taste AMAZING and are healthy. best part?... their the most common mushroom in Anura! everywhere they are! sadly majority of the time when Sozo's followers come back with mushrooms their the wrong ones. which is why when Sozo has time he goes hunting for them himself. sometimes, the best of the menticide mushrooms are too high to reach. either on tall trees, cliff walls or just somewhere out of reach for Sozo. How does this brainwashing ritaul work? well, firstly, Sozo must gather his followers. surround a pentagram with menticide mushrooms in the middle, then chanting. If done correctly, the menticide mushrooms will start floating, then explode into dust. his followers will inhale this. Sozo's followers will be hypnotised after this.

Bishops of the old faith:

There are four of them, each one owns their own biome. Leshy, Heket, Kallamar, Shamura. Leshy's biome is a average forest, nothing too special, named darkwood. he is the youngest of all the bishops, He is a worm. Heket's biome is Anura. She is the most vicious of the four Bishops, she is a frog. Kallamar's Biome looks like its a underwater cave with crystals, most beautiful of the four biomes. He fears the red crown, he is a squid. Shamura's biome is like a haunted forest full of spiders. most eerie of the four biomes. Shamura was the wisest of the four Bishops, They are a spider. they all have crowns, Leshy wears the green, Heket wears the yellow, Kallamar wears the blue and Shamura wears the purple. if not them, then who owns the red crown?.. A fallen god, one whom lost everything because of greed, now named the one who waits, they were once called Narinder. now, He is chained below to suffer forever.. waiting...
