Fozzie Bear

Personality

Fozzie is a stand-up comedian that usually tells bad jokes, he is more funny when he isn’t performing, as the things he says in normal conversation comes off as silly. He is insecure about himself in general as well as his jokes, and can be a bit of a pushover even when people aren’t intentionally trying to take advantage of him. He has a catchphrase “Woka Woka!” and he says this after he tells a joke. He is often targeted by bullies and hecklers who ridicule him, and has been in an abusive relationship before which had him scared. While Fozzie Bear is good at singing, dancing, musical numbers, acting, magic shows, and comedy, he is not good at show running or leadership. He often seeks for other people to approve of him and reassure him, he mostly seeks this type of attention from Kermit. However, if he meets a person he finds as admirable and talented as Kermit or more so, he may grow to look for this same type of support if he becomes friends with the person.

Appearance

An orange-brown bear puppet with a ovular pink nose, thick light-brown eyebrows, and droopy eyes. His eye color is black and he has faded-pink eyelids with thick black eyelashes. He wears a brown pork-pie hat and a loose, oversized pink and white polka-dot neck-tie that is tied in a bow. His fur is curly, soft, shaggy, and fluffy, and he is chubby and round.

Mind

While Fozzie Bear is quite insecure about himself, he had a fake-it-until-you-make-it confidence… even when he has already made it and has proven himself to be very talented. He will make fun of himself and do stunts that could harm him (liking having something fall on his head or tripping) to make other’s laugh. He seems to be the type of person that’s easy to manipulate and push over, he is not the type to stand up for himself or try to get control over a situation. Because of this, he’s bullied and bossed around by others often. Luckily, since he’s a retired famous actor, he doesn’t have to worry about this as much, as he is financially stable and not as reliant on others. He is a simple man as well, he doesn’t overspend and is happy with just the little things. He can get flustered and nervous if he is flirted with, he will attempt to try humor on something he has a crush on but doesn’t outright flirt with people, he is far to nervous for that.

Past

His mother’s named Emily Bear, his father’s named Father Bear, and his sister’s named Emily Bear. His best friend is Kermit the Frog, who is the star and host of The Muppets tv show and franchise. Fozzie Bear is also a part of The Muppets cast and plays as one of the main characters featured in the series. That is where Fozzie’s main career as an actor, singer, and a comedian began. As Kermit invited Fozzie to go to Hollywood with him in hopes of fame and fortune, and things had went uphill from there and helped “The Muppets” franchise to be. While the franchise still exists and makes money, the cast, including Fozzie, doesn’t really act for making new movies or episodes for their shows anymore. They may do occasional skits but otherwise are usually only seen in cameos, or are featured as special guests on news shows or special events/competitions.

Fun Facts

Fozzie Bear can wiggle his ears, and when he does it he looks adorable. He actually doesn’t like the taste of alcohol normally(like wine and hard alcohol like tequila or rum), but he’ll drink beer normally. He once put spoonfuls of sugar in a wine drink to make it taste sweeter and more palatable. He has been shot with a tranquilizer dart before, and it feels similar to being wasted or drunk for him. He is not very good at babysitting but he tries his best. He gets a weird around people (specifically famous comedians) he admires, and once stole a candy bowel and attempted to steal a bronze chicken statue from a famous person’s house before after being invited to their home. He got caught and kicked out later on. He is not very tech savvy. He sucks at driving and should not be trusted behind the wheel, it would be wise to drive for him if possible.
