Appearance

Sasuke is a fair-skinned ninja with dark black eyes and chin-length hair. His hair is spiked in the back, with bangs that grow longer as the story progresses. As a young child, his bangs hung over his eyes. During his early childhood, Sasuke wore a simple long black shirt with a high collar and the Uchiha emblem on the back, and black shorts (white in the anime). When Sasuke joined Itachi on his mission to capture the boar, Sasuke wore an ANBU uniform. Later, they hang down either side of his face to frame around his cheeks and then again return to their original style. In the epilogue, Sasuke's hair falls diagonally towards the back of his head leaving only his front locks and because of his age, he has two diagonal lines running down his face similar to those of his brother Itachi. As a result of having fought Naruto at the end of the story, Sasuke lost his left arm due to the devastating collision of the Chidori with the Rasengan that left him seriously injured. Sasuke refused to have Sakura implant him with an artificial arm with Hashirama's cells made by Tsunade. This was probably a way to punish himself for the mistakes he made in his youth. A recurring theme in Sasuke's appearance is that he is considered quite attractive by many girls at a young age. At the beginning of Part 1, Sasuke's clothing consisted of traditional Uchiha attire: a blue, short-sleeved, high-collared shirt with the Uchiha fan symbol on the back and white arm warmers, which he stopped wearing after the Chūnin Exams, along with white shorts. By the later stages of the Chūnin Exams, he wore a similar version of this black outfit, with many small belts on his arms that adorn his left arm bandage and similar bands around both of his legs.

Appearance

As the story progressed, the Uchiha symbol became smaller until after he defeated his brother. Initially, Sasuke wore a short Ninja Headband with the Konoha symbol on the metal plate. After the second defeat against Itachi, Sasuke stopped wearing it for some time. He started wearing it again during the second half of the battle with Naruto at the Valley of the End, only to drop it at the end of the battle. Since then, Sasuke has not worn a forehead protector. In Part 2, Sasuke has grown noticeably over the two and a half years. He was first shown wearing a white long-sleeved shirt (grey in the manga), similar in appearance to the lavender long-sleeved shirt worn by Kimimaro and open at the torso, with a smaller version of the Uchiha symbol on his back. He wore dark blue pants with a blue tubular hakama hanging from the middle of his stomach to his knees. He also wore black arm guards covering his forearms, which stretched out to reach his upper biceps. He also wore a purple rope belt tied in a bow around the hakama in which he carries his sword. After fighting Deidara, he switched to a sleeveless dark grey shirt. His arm guards were removed as well and he began wearing bandages on his wrists, by virtue of which he wore special bracelets with seals where he stores various shuriken. He also wore a black cape with this. After his encounter and fight against Itachi, he reverted to his short-sleeved, grey turtleneck shirt similar in appearance to the blue shirt he usually wore in Part I, but with a zipper. He also wears blue wrist warmers with his shuriken bracelets hidden underneath. He briefly wore the Akatsuki cloak along with this. Appearance

He has returned to his original size after his battle with Itachi. While implanting Itachi's eyes in Graveyard Mountain, he is seen wearing black robes similar to those worn by Madara Uchiha in his youth with a sash belt around his waist. After recovering and leaving Graveyard Mountain, he returns to wearing the same clothes he wore after his battle with Itachi, the only difference being that he is now fully zipped up. After Kabuto healed the grievous wound Madara inflicted on him, his zipper remained unzipped, and due to his encounter with Hagoromo, Sasuke gained a dark crescent mark on his left palm, which disappeared when Kaguya was sealed away. Later, after his final battle with Naruto, Sasuke lost his left arm. In the anime, while imprisoned for his crimes, Sasuke wore a straitjacket and a special bandage that suppressed his ocular jutsu. Two years after the Fourth Shinobi World War, Sasuke's appearance changed drastically, going from a simple form to a more complex style. He still carries a sword and is missing his left arm. He has grown noticeably taller and his facial features have developed, giving him a more mature appearance. He wears a navy blue headband that wraps around his head several times and which gathers his longer hair and pushes it over his forehead, and without the headband his hair remains the same shape. He wears a black, long-sleeved, high-collared shirt, resembling the ones he wore in his childhood, and his right forearm is wrapped in navy blue bandages. He also wears part of a tactical vest similar to those used in Kumogakure which covers the lower part of his pectorals as well as his right shoulder. Over this he wears a light brown poncho with a hood that covers most of his body and whose purpose is to hide his missing arm.

Several years later, Sasuke's appearance has matured, his hair is longer with bangs hanging down that cover more of the left half of his face, similar to Madara. He now wears a black cloak with a white shirt underneath it, a purple headband, black pants, and dark blue fingerless gloves. He still wields his sword with its guard concealed, as well as a purple pouch on his right shoulder. He also resumed wearing his Ninja Headband, letting it hang on his left hip.

Personality

From the first moment, Sasuke is shown to be a cold, severe, unfriendly, proud boy with a great gift in the arts of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, and thanks to his Sharingan also in Genjutsu. In the first part of the series, his only and precious ambition is to become powerful at any price to fulfill his two objectives; kill his brother Itachi Uchiha and rebuild his clan (although he has not shown interest in this). Sasuke despises camaraderie and is quite proud, to the point of being arrogant, because he is aware of his superior abilities as an Uchiha. After graduation, when he heard that he would be assigned a team of three, he expressed annoyance because he considered that they could hinder him. Such event was seen on 2 occasions: the first in his fight with Danzō, when the latter showed his 10 Sharingan eyes on his right arm and 1 Sharingan in his right eye and the second was in his encounter with Kakashi. After expressing a feeling of joy he has never felt before after killing Danzō, Sasuke states that killing every single member of Konoha is his highest priority, to which Karin, Kakashi, Sakura, and the rest of the Konoha 11, with the exception of Naruto, completely lose all hope in him. Upon receiving his "Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan", Sasuke's cruelty seemingly reached a new level when he killed Zetsu, simply to test out his newfound powers. He has also grown to become impatient, reckless, sadistic, and even psychopathic in battle. Despite the influence of Tobi, who is one of the main sources of his corruption and his own path of hatred and revenge, as well as the belief that Tobi is an Uchiha, Sasuke has refused to acknowledge Tobi as his ally, even speaking rudely to him on certain occasions. Having to live listening to the various lies about Itachi had made him emotionally unstable. So he decided to hear the truth from Itachi himself. After the fight against Kabuto, Itachi revealed everything to him before his soul was freed from Kabuto's Impure World Reincarnation Summon, bidding him farewell with a few warm final words.
