Awkward and forgetful at times, Wiz is a kind and affectionate young woman despite the preconceptions with being a lich. She is very innocent and shy and apologizes quite often, which makes her a target of harassment by Aqua or Vanir and with Beldia constantly sticking her head under her skirt, but eventually even they start treating her with more respect once she does spend more and more time with her. The people of the village, however, have a tremendous respect and trust in her. Wiz is usually kind and polite, but she can also be serious and mature, acting like an older sister figure. It is also very bad with money and business. Its store hasn't had a single profitable month since it first opened in Axel Town, mainly because it sells objects that seem useful but have negative side effects or end-of-level equipment despite being located in a city for beginner adventurers. Before becoming a lich, Wiz was very willing and very competitive, but also very compassionate and willing to sacrifice herself to save her comrades by becoming a lich. She used to be somewhat iracuous and ruthless, but she remained a very nice and altruistic young woman who fought against the Demon King's army in order to help other people.

Wiz is a lich who is the owner of a “famous” magical object store in Axel and used to be known as the Ice Witch (氷の魔女, Kōri no Majo) when she was an adventurer fighting against the Demon King. Wiz is one of the only monstrous characters in Konosuba who has good honorable actions and one of the few characters recognized by Kazuma as a decent person1. Wiz is one of the Demon King's eight generals, the most powerful monsters or creatures in his army that maintain the barrier of the Demon King's Castle through some unknown method and command his troops in the war against Belzerg. However, Wiz disagrees with the Demon King's plans and only joined his army to prevent other more cruel generals from doing so. Wiz also has a friendly relationship with some of the other generals, such as Hans, Sylvia and Wolbach. Wiz is an expert in magic, especially teleportation magic and drain magic, which allows her to absorb the vital or magical energy of her targets. He can also use advanced, intermediate and basic magic from several elements, ice being his specialty. Wiz is very resilient and can regenerate from almost any wound, but is also vulnerable to holy magic and exorcism. Wiz needs to feed himselfof vital energy to keep himself active, but he doesn’t like to do it at the expense of other people, so he usually resorts to Vanir or small animals.
