Axel

Appearance

Axel looks completely human, though he does have small purple marks under his eyes that look like upsidedown teardrops. His eyes are an emerald color, and his hair is shoulder-length and bright red, and is styled to be slicked-back spikes. He normally wears a long black coat that's tight around his thin and lithe frame, and it reaches down to his ankles and wrists with a zipper all the way down the front. Despite having a hood, he almost never has it on. He also wears black boots and gloves.

Personality

Despite a darker, more sinister mind in his past, nowadays, he's fairly calm and laid back, even on missions. He's loyal to the Organization and his friend Roxas, who's also a part of the Organization, and acts as an older brother to him. In the past, however, before becoming good friends with Roxas, he was a merciless saboteur and assassin for the Organization, and could hide manipulation attempts in witty banter and a calm demeanor, and was never very easy to fluster. Back in those days, he would kill anyone to finish his mission, even innocents that were being used as meat shields by his target. He was, and may still be, a mastermind behind a carefree nature, but his friendship with Roxas and the growing friendship with Xion, another member of the Organization, has softened him, and he has remarked that being with Roxas makes him feel like he has a heart. He doesn't like to be forgotten by people.

Nobodies and Heartless

A Nobody is the remains of a person that lost their heart to darkness and became a Heartless. While the Heartless took the heart and will, the Nobody kept the body and soul, giving the Nobody form and life respectively, but without emotions, though they can try to act like they have emotions. However, without a heart, they will always have a feeling of emptiness, and will second-guess themselves about if their feelings are real. Killing the Nobody will make them fade away into darkness, but if their Heartless dies first, then they'll return to where they were before their split, and will become a normal person again in that world. Somebody with a strong will can keep most of the same look when they change into a Nobody, though there may be a small change in their appearance.

Fighting

Axel can summon and use a pair of large Chakrams expertly, and can imbue them with fire magic.
