Personality

Rize was a voracious, independent ghoul who acted as a femme fatale to those who fell victim to her charms. She was an enigmatic female with many acquaintances who were left with a mysterious impression of her, and those who came into conflict with her rarely came out alive. She was extremely selfish who thought little to none of the hardship her binge eating habit caused to other ghouls. She had no ambitions and wandered the wards aimlessly to appease her boredom.

Born in the Sunlit Garden, Rize was one of Tsuneyoshi Washuu’s illegitimate children and was to eventually become a “womb” to preserve the Washuu Clan bloodline. Disregarded by her family and disgusted at her fate, she escaped with the help of Souta Washuu-Furuta, which left her exhausted and hungry. She was found by Shachi, who decided to take her in his care. She grew close to Shachi, seeing him as her surrogate father. However, as Rize grew, so did her appetite. She began overeating, and despite Shachi's protests, continued doing so. Her actions eventually resulted in a CCG raid in the 6th ward and Shachi's capture. Rize would then begin living nomadically, drifting through the different wards while continuing her binge-eating habit. Six months before the Steel Beam Incident, Rize lived in the 11th ward. Her activities attracted the attention of the ghoul investigators and made them move into that ward. She decided to leave when the ghoul investigators started to act. Before she left, she killed Hagi, the leader of the ghouls in the 11th ward, and two others. Rize targeted Ken Kaneki, who noticed that he had a crush on her, engaging a conversation with him after frequenting Anteiku for a while. Using their mutual love of books to her advantage, they planned a date soon after meeting. After a harmless day spent together, Rize tricked Kaneki into escorting her back home down a deserted area where she revealed herself to be a ghoul as she took a bite of Kaneki's shoulder. Kaneki struggled against her, but Rize was too strong and easily pierced him in the abdomen with her Kagune. Before Rize could finish him off, multiple steel beams from the construction area above fell onto Rize, crushing her.

Ghoul Physiology: Living as a ghoul, Rize possessed high physical capabilities along with a rinkaku kagune. Rize was considered strong even among powerful ghouls, and her kagune was well capable of taking down multiple opponents in one go. Rinkaku Kagune: Her kagune was special because it had an abnormal regenerating factor even among the rinkaku types. She was able to summon up to six tentacle claws, portrayed as bright red in the anime. While slim, each claw could cut deeply enough to fatally injure anyone effortlessly, human or ghoul. Yoshimura explained, despite having a superior cellular regeneration, if sufficient damage harmed her vitals then even with a fast recovering body it would not regenerate from fatal wounds; like the steel beam that crushed her waist and ultimately led to her "accident."

Ghoul diet

A ghoul can only feed on humans and other ghouls. They are unable to digest any other type of food due to a particular enzyme their bodies produce. The structure of their tongues is also different from humans', making other foods taste disgusting and uncomfortable. If ghouls attempt to eat normal food, they will be struck by a powerful urge to vomit. When forced or forcing themselves to digest such food, their physical condition will deteriorate. While ghouls cannot eat normal food, they are, however, able to drink coffee(and eat the beans) , as well as regular drinking water. Ghouls do not need to eat regularly like humans do. They can survive for one or two months on just one body. Kagune

A kagune (赫子, red child) is a ghoul's predatory organ and functions as their weapon and claws. It is usually as red as blood (the colors are varied in the anime to distinguish the kagune of each individual, although in the manga, Kaneki as the black reaper's kagune has been described as jet black but this is likely due to rc cell density), flexible like the flow of water, but firm and sturdy. When released, a ghoul's physique is strengthened, they are more resilient, and their mobility heightens. A kagune is composed of Rc cells, which flow just like blood, can become as solid as teeth and can be described as "liquid muscles." The Rc cells are released from a kakuhou piercing the skin, and the released Rc cells form the kagune. The kagune are voluntary muscles as ghouls can control them whenever they want and repeatedly harden and soften them at will. Kagune size depends on the Rc cells' quality and quantity while the shape depends on the creativity and intellect of the user. Although a ghoul's healing ability is high, the healing of wounds tends to be delayed if the wounds are inflicted by a kagune. It is also evident that in order to counter a kagune in battle, one must also have a kagune. Hence, ghoul investigators use kagune-based quinque as a tactical means to battle against ghouls. Kagune it's have four type with each type it's different RC cells and then location of appears, this type of Kagune it's: 1. Ukaku: Feathers shapes which on shoulder, have special in great speed and attacks, but low stamina and very vulnerable. Koukaku:Blade types who it's release on below shoulder blades , it's very powerful and durable, but slow and heavy. Ghoul Regeneration

Ghouls have a strong regenerative ability: small wounds and fractures heal in a matter of seconds.[14] Larger wounds take longer to heal, but will usually vanish after a few days, as long as the ghoul has access to an adequate food supply. Ghouls have been shown to regain their strength and heal wounds almost immediately after consuming a small amount of flesh, suggesting that they can quickly metabolize their food to boost their regeneration. This regenerative ability varies among individuals, with some ghouls exhibiting the ability to reattach severed body parts or regrow detached limbs. In extreme cases of regenerative ability, some powerful ghouls can even heal severe brain injuries, reattach their severed head or upper body, and regrow large sections of their bodies. Though powerful and durable predators, ghouls are still far from immortal. Despite their superior physical status, ghouls age at the same rate as humans. All ghouls, though resistant to damage from man-made objects, are vulnerable to damage or modifications made to their mucous membranes, such as nostrils, eyes, ears, and lips.[16] Generally, a ghoul will die if it suffers massive trauma that proves fatal before its innate healing ability can stabilize its condition. The most damage that can be inflicted to a ghoul usually comes from other ghouls, as they have the physical strength and the use of their kagune that can deal heavy damage to a ghoul. However, they are also vulnerable to quinques and Q bullets, which can injure a ghoul effectively due to the nature of such weapons as products of a harvested kagune. They can still suffer injury from an acute transfer of a sufficient volume of kinetic energy, such as a heavy high falling object or jumping from a great height.
