Appearance

Luo Binghe is described as being a tall and extraordinarily handsome youth, with a pair of starry dark eyes, a bright, sincere smile, and a humble look about him. He often wore white clothing, which, along with his innocent personality, led to Shen Yuan often comparing him to a little sheep. However, after his return from the Eternal Abyss, he began to favor darker clothing and a less inviting demeanor. In the donghua, while on Qing Jing peak, Luo Binghe wears his hair in a ponytail and wears Qing Jing green robes; his robes are a much more elaborate than the standard male Qing Jing disciple's clothes.

Personality

Luo Binghe is a hardworking and optimistic individual at the beginning of the novel. He withstood the bullying of his fellow disciples with little complaint, choosing to try and improve his cultivation instead of giving up. Luo Binghe is also extremely loyal; he is willing to do anything for Shen Qingqiu, who describes Luo Binghe as a "pure white lotus disciple". When Luo Binghe returns from the Abyss, he has a very different personality. He is much stronger and more confident in his demonic abilities; he is also charismatic and persuasive enough to have successfully united the Demon Realm under his reign. However, he still seeks Shen Qingqiu's affection and approval, much like when he was a young disciple. Luo Binghe is very possessive of Shen Qingqiu, even more so after they get married. He tends to be a crybaby and loves to dote on his husband

Abilities & Equipmen

Heavenly Demon Blood - When the blood of a Heavenly Demon is consumed, the victim is unable to resist the will of the owner. Luo Binghe can track the victim's location, manipulate their limbs, heal their wounds, and torture them. Fast Regeneration - Luo Binghe has the ability to regenerate extremely quickly. He can also control how fast his wounds regenerate, shown when he "preserves" the sword scar that Shen Qingqiu gave him through the chest, as well as the scar on his hand. Strength - Luo Binghe possesses the strength to destroy the Little Palace Mistress' barbed iron whip with his bare hand. Dream Enchantment - As a result of Meng Mo's teachings, Luo Binghe can create dreams with detailed people and scenes He was first in possession of the Zheng Yang sword (obtained from Wan Jian peak) and later in possession of the Xin Mo sword. Like other cultivators, he is able to fly on these swords, and use 'sword qi' to manipulate the sword without physically holding it. Xin Mo also has the property of teleportation; it can move between locations and worlds.

Relationships (family)

Tianlang Jun Tianlang Jun is Luo Binghe's biological father. It was revealed that Luo Binghe had harbored some fantasies about his birth parents. Those fantasies were about whether his parents might still be alive and how well they'd treat him, and how they'd never let him suffer the mildest slight. Unfortunately, their first meeting was not the best, as it was after he and Zhuzhi-lang kidnapped Shen Qingqiu. It is not until later at that he finds out the demon he fought with was actually his father. After finding this out he was very disappointed as it was far from what he imagined. Luo Binghe then states that he has no father, and that he only has his "Shizun". Su Xiyan Su Xiyan is Luo Binghe's biological mother. The same day he found out who she was he also had to learn that she had at first drank poison to kill him while she was pregnant. Although it was revealed that she was forced to do so and that in the end she absorbed the poison herself Luo Binghe could not overlook the fact that he was not a wanted child even by his own birth parents. Despite what Luo Binghe thinks, Su Xiyan cared very much about Luo Binghe as she sacrificed herself for him and even carefully lowered him into the river in hopes of him surviving during her last moments. When xinmo overtakes his mind he is filled with hatred and fear of being left alone again by Shen Qingqiu and states that nobody has every chosen him. Shen Qingqiu has to remind him that his mother did chose him when she died. Zhuzhi Lang Zhuzhi Lang is Luo Binghe's biological cousin. Son of Tianlang-jun's younger sister. The two do not have a good relationship as Zhuzhi Lang first kidnapped Shen Qingqiu and tried to keep him captive. Luo Binghe felt jealous towards the other when he was treating Shen Qingqiu of his injuries

Relationships (family)

Washerwoman Mother Binghe's adoptive mother, who raised him from childhood. Her existence is a part of Binghe's tragic backstory, as they grow up with little to nothing and suffer greatly, abused by the noble family she works for. She bought him the fake jade pendant he treasures so much, saving up for a long time to afford a good one to gift him but accidentally buys a fake and then dies of heartbreak. He treasures it anyway and is greatly distressed when it is lost. It is the one thing that calms him down when xinmo overtakes him.

Relationship ( Cang Qiong Mountain (Peak Lords) )

Shen Qingqiu (Qing Jing Peak) Binghe's love interest and (eventual) husband. They meet when Shen Yuan transmigrates into Shen Qingqiu's body. He is the only person Binghe is tender with, willing to do almost anything to make him happy and safe. Binghe falls in love (or at least becomes very affectionate) fairly early on. In the three years he studies under him, he comes to deeply trust and care for him as his 'Shizun'. The reason as to why he becomes so attached is not completely stated, though it is hinted that Luo Binghe's traumatic childhood caused him to be unloved, so when Shen Qingqiu/Yuan started giving him affection is caused him to become near addicted to it. His affection towards him is to the point that when Shen Yuan pushes him into the abyss his distress and trauma causes his coolness points to be reset to zero. He cared/became obsessed with the man so much that he chose to keep the scar on his chest instead of erasing it, it being "a gift from Shizun". Shortly after the Abyss he becomes possessive, obsessive and aggressive towards Shen Yuan, even perhaps yandere-like, thinking Shen Yuan hates him. Despite this fear, he is still unable to let him go, and occasionally tried to kidnap him in order to keep him by his side. He succeeds eventually, but loses him once more.

Liu Qingge (Bai Zhan Peak) Luo Binghe respected Liu Qingge when he was a disciple of Shen Qingqiu's. He starts getting jealous of Liu Qingge when he starts developing feelings for Shen Qingqiu. The relationship becomes more hostile when Shen Qingqiu dies and Luo Binghe refuses to return his body. They have many fights over the years Shen Qingqiu is dead, with Luo Binghe always beating him. Shang Qinghua (An Ding Peak) Luo Binghe showed respect towards Shang Qinghua as a disciple. When he takes over the demon realm he allows Shang Qinghua to sit in on the meetings with Mobei-jun and even takes advice from him on how to attract Shen Qingqiu. After the novel, Shang Qinghua visits the pair on their honeymoon and respectfully greets him. He even allows Shang Qinghua to eat some of the noodles he prepared for him and Shen Qingqiu. Mu Qingfang (Qian Ciao Peak) Luo Binghe showed him respect in his disciple days as he did with most of the peak lords. During the five year period after Shen Qingqiu self-destructed Luo Binghe kidnapped Mu Qingfang to get him to help "heal" Shen Qingqiu. Mu Qingfang told him he couldn't and was eventually rescued by Liu Qingge.
