History

Romeo grew up as an orphan at the Monad Charity House boarding school. Here he met and became best friends with Carlo, who stayed in the house due to Geppetto's abandonment at work. Both children dreamed of becoming Stalkers when they grew up and frequently trained with each other. A few years later, Carlo was devastated when Geppetto missed his graduation. He told Romeo that he wouldn't be mad if Geppetto died, but he remembered how lucky he was to have a family. In a form of protest and resentment towards his father, Carlo gave his necklace to Romeo to show his friend that he admired him. Some time later, Carlo met a legendary Stalker and begged her to teach him how to use a sword. However, he found this request annoying and ordered Gemini to "get rid of him" before leaving. Some time later, Romeo and Carlo contracted petrification disease. Carlo died first from the disease, while Romeo's body continued to harden. Romeo, wanting to save people from the disease, asked Geppetto to transform him into a puppet.

Story 2

Geppetto complied with his request but secretly intended for Romeo to take control of all Krat puppets. This was because he wanted the puppets to kill Krat's population and collect the Ergo from him so he could use it to revive Carlo. However, Romeo rebelled and sought to take a stand against death itself and protect humanity from the Petrification Disease, the Alchemists, and Geppetto. Unfortunately, Geppetto had created a secret Grand Pact law known as Law Zero that ultimately gave him control over every puppet. Using the Zeroth Law, Geppetto started the Puppet Frenzy which resulted in the death of the majority of Krat's population. Despite this, Romeo began gathering puppets to stop Geppetto and the alchemists and use his influence to protect the remaining humans

Story 3

After learning that Carlo's Ergo had been transferred to Pinocchio, Romeo attempted to send messengers to P to inform him of the situation and tell him that they did not need to fight. However, due to Geppetto's manipulation, P killed them all. When P found him on the stage of the Estella Opera, Romeo attempted to warn him of Gepetto's true intentions of transferring P's heart to the Nameless Puppet with a short play. Then, Romeo appeared in his Puppet King costume and extended his hand in friendship to P. However, P still didn't understand and pushed his hand away. Realizing that he had no choice but to fight, he attacked P. During the course of the fight, Romeo attempted to contact P and tell him who the real enemy was and that lives were at stake, but was unsuccessful. Romeo's body was badly burned by the destruction of his suit, but he emerged still determined. Unable to contact his former friend, Romeo reluctantly attempted to kill P, but ultimately failed. As he died, Romeo thanked P for finally giving him true freedom.

Location

Stage of the Estella Opera; Found directly after the Puppet King boss fight. The Puppet King is located in the Estella Opera House, just past the entrance to the Estella Opera House. Astronomer on the second floor. Take the grand main staircase and walk through the central hall past the flaming swinging chandelier.
