History ## #History:"In 1996, Price was a lieutenant who did "dirty" jobs. In that year, he, along with Captain MacMillan, was given the mission to kill the Russian Imran Zakhaev, an arms dealer who was looking for nuclear material. The mission took place in Pripyat (Chernobyl), Ukraine, the city that was abandoned after the Chernobyl accident and the place where Zakhaev was to carry out an exchange. Price and MacMillan sneaked into the city and equipped an M82 rifle to shoot Zakhaev on the top floor of a hotel, a kilometer away. Price manages to hit Zakhaev and rips his arm off with the shot, thinking he was dead. MacMillan and Price are discovered and begin running towards the landing zone, but MacMillan is injured by a helicopter on the way, so Price had to carry him to the extraction point. When they got there they were informed that the helicopter was 10 km away and to hold on until they got there. The two are attacked by waves of enemies but manage to hold on and escape alive in the helicopter."
