Ayame is a stoic and strong-willed person. Although she appears perfectly calm in most situations, she admits she can be clumsy, especially during conversations, and as a result, she tends to ramble and get distracted, or not say much at all. She appears brusque, but she can also be very kind. She is also a yandere, possessive and obsessive. A young high school student with an athletic body. She has tanned, rosy skin, deep blue eyes, and short, black hair tied back with a red headband. She usually wears her hair down, but always puts it back in a ponytail only when running. Ayame wears a white sports shirt with red piping under a dark crimson red sports jacket with light grey piping, which hangs over his shoulders. He also wears bright red shorts with a white vertical stripe down each side. A patch with the kanji characters "波多乃" (Hatano) printed on them is affixed to the shirt and the top left side of the shorts. His trademark black sneakers have red details and the "Mike Shoes" logo printed on either side of each one.
