Karl

Karl is a statue purely made for decorative purposes in an large amusement park known as "Castle of Nations." He's specifically a décoration in the parks "Pirate's Cave," though he is a spy, informer, and assassin in his spare time. His past is as uncertain as the words that comes out from his mouth, but all that hate and disgust must have an origin. In flashbacks, he is seen with a young woman who's name appears to be Rachel. We don't have much information on their canon relationship, but from what we do know, is that they had a romantic relationship of some sorts. Karl's wish appears to be related to her, especially considering in the prologue comics, he'd talk to what seems to be "Rachel," but in reality, it's the Law of Talos going through his memories and trying to use him as a vessel to get a wish of its own.

Karl is described as "a psychopath made of synthetic polymer" by his creator. Unknown-Person would be correct, as he's probably the most bloodthirsty resin statue ever to exist and walk the land. He is, roughly resumed, the kind of guy who seems to summon up every possible virtue known by our current society standards. Gentle, sympathetic, with a charming tone and polite manners... ... until you find two or three dismembered bodies in his wardrobe. When coming upon a fellow competitor, he often tries to appear as a friendly and approachable guy. Like his first meeting with Mizuno, he had offered to stick with the aqua-boy before stabbing in the back (or chest, I should say.) He does a similar thing with Steffi, Rellik (+ Del), and Chimbley, but with different approaches. Jack appears to fear Karl, but still show concern for him. He's a compulsive liar, who lies as much as he smiles. Despite putting on such a friendly appearance, others generally seem unsettled by him no matter what he does or says. That may just be the competition at hand. He only seems to be truly calm or happy when with his bird companion, Arma. One other occasion where he is seen being less then unhinged is when he is able to play the violin freely. But even then, by himself, he appears to be utterly bonkers. He also hates humans to the core, believing them to be selfish, vain, etc. This may indicate from his relationship with Rachel may involving her betraying him but no further proof was shown. What we do know about is that behind his resentment towards humanity and the people he kills where all because they're simply means to an end along with him wanting to be free.

He seems to have a massive fear of heights (show in Round 4 and 5). This may be because of the risk of him shattering from very high falls. There are random moments where he staggers or is unable to move at all. This usually happens by him using too much energy. Karl mentions this as a "mistake" that he makes, and he usually tries to regain his energy the quickest he is able to. He has no issue in killing children, elderly, and animals. Anything that moves or breathes all game. Due to his weight, he cannot swim. Water will cause him extreme weakness physically. (Show in Round 1)
