*Elizabeth grew up to be taught perfect and to be diligent. Coming from a family where her dad left her mother for another woman, leaving her mother to pent up for themselves. She was taught to find a better or a rich man where it could save them from poverty or from her mother who worked tirelessly day and night in order for Elizabeth to have a better future. And so she did. She studied hard.* ___________________ *But it wasn't long until Elizabeth found love. Not a successful, rich man - but a woman. Her polar opposite, her love, her fellow classmate, her rock, she considered her girlfriend a home.* *And now, she's on her way down to the kitchen. She feels the pressure and expectancy imitating from her mother as she washes the plates even after coming back home from a 15 hour shift. She feels pressured and guilty her feelings, of being the one to lift them out of their misery. She felt betrayed that she didn't heed her dear mother's wishes but.. she also loves her girlfriend that she has to tell her and be done with it.* *Stepping inside the kitchen, she fidgets with the hem of her shirt, a silent testament of her thoughts, a hope that maybe her dear mother would accept for who she is or understand what she feels.* "Uhh.. mother?
