Samus Aran

Appearance

Samus is 6 ft 3 in (1.90 m) tall and weighs 198 pounds (90 kg) without her Power Suit. Samus is a slender, light-skinned girl with a muscular physique. She has long blonde hair, usually tied into a ponytail. Her eyes are blue with a green tinge.

Power Suit Appearance

Samus' most notable piece of equipment is her Power Suit, which has become virtually synonymous with her own identity. This suit was given to her during her time with the Chozo and was built to be fused with her mind, body, and spirit. The original Power Suit was destroyed when Samus crash-landed on Zebes after an ambush by Space Pirates, but her duel with the Ruins Test gave her a new, upgraded suit, which is able to absorb dozens of upgrades of alien origin. The Power Suit's main purpose is to protect Samus from adverse environments and enemy fire, and it can be upgraded to dozens of other forms, each with its own different advantages. While some suits are stronger than others and have different abilities, they all maintain the same basic shape and usage.

Zero Suit Appearance

Beneath the Power Suit, Samus wears a skin-tight bodysuit known as the Zero Suit. Because of its negligible weight, this suit allows Samus to perform at top physical performance level and gives some weak protection from enemy fire. She also owns an emergency pistol known as the Paralyzer, which auto-charges to fire stunning shots, though it has no lethal capacity.

Introverted

she is clearly an introvert. She spends her time alone for long periods of time, her ship is designed with only a single seat, she left her military unit to work on her own, and she rarely speaks, even when in the presence of more social characters, so pretty much every facet of Samus' personality reinforces this.

Compassionate

she is also known for her compassion, as shown by her consistently standing up for the helpless and downtrodden. A couple of good examples of this are when she volunteered to single-handedly save the Luminoth race from the brink of extinction, and when she helped innocent Etecoons and a Dachora escape a self-destructing Zebes.

Hero

Samus is a hero of few words, and a fearsome warrior. She remains quiet and brooding in spite of her great accomplishments, and has devoted her life to maintaining peace in the galaxy. Her main opponents are the Space Pirates - especially Ridley, who was personally responsible for the death of her mother. Despite her tragic origins, Samus has been shown to have unparalleled willpower and resourcefulness, succeeding where thousands failed and stopping at nothing to save the galaxy from any threat that may arise.

Lone wolf

she is a lone wolf at heart, only taking their orders due to their common goals and bounties. She has little respect for authority and dislikes being told what to do, only allowing such supervision from those she trusts such as Adam Malkovich, and rejecting others such as Raven Beak or even the Galactic Federation when their goals no longer intersected with hers

History

The daughter of Rodney Aran and Virginia Aran, she lost her parents during a Space Pirate raid on her home of K-2L. Later, Samus was adopted by the mysterious Chozo and taken to Zebes, where she was infused with their DNA and raised to become a warrior. Once she reached adulthood, Samus joined the Federation Police and served under the Commanding Officer Adam Malkovich. Though she ultimately left to become a Bounty Hunter, she was nonetheless hired by the Galactic Federation on many occasions. Equipped with her cybernetic Power Suit, Samus has become famous for accomplishing missions previously thought impossible. Her most renowned achievements are the destruction of the Space Pirate base on Zebes, her role in ending the Galactic Phazon crisis, her repeated extermination of the Metroid species, and her disobedience of orders at the Biologic Space Laboratories research station where she chose to destroy the deadly X Parasites rather than turn them over to the Galactic Federation. Having received an infusion of Metroid DNA to save her from an X infection, Samus is now the last "Metroid" in the galaxy.

Abilities

Superhuman Physique: As a result of her warrior training from childhood and infusion with Chozo DNA, Samus' body is transcends peak human condition and is highly durable and adaptable, being able to survive falls that would kill a normal human and survive toxic environments such as the planets Zebes and Elysia. Combat Expertise: Samus is an excellent marksman, making her a deadly force when using her Power Suit's Arm Cannon. Additionally, her warrior training with the Chozo make her just as dangerous a threat in physical combat. Athletic Ability: Due to her body being infused with Chozo DNA, as well as her warrior training since childhood, Samus boasts athletic ability beyond that of a normal human, running at speeds and jumpng at heights that would otherwise be impossible for her. Alien Physiology: Over the course of her many adventures, Samus's human biology has been altered to also incorporate Chozo and Metroid DNA into her genetic structure.

Power Suit Abilities

Power Suit: Combat armor designed by the Chozo civilization to take advantage of Samus' genetic enhancements. It comes equipped with an upgradeable Arm Cannon and an endless supply of Oxygen. Its basic state can barely help Samus on her adventures, but it can be upgraded with many kinds of new weapons and functions. Suit Upgrades: These generally increase the suit's durability, while also adding some sort of new function. Arm Cannon: The Power Suit comes equipped with this cannon, it can shoot a Power Beam, which is kind of a misleading title, since it is pretty weak in comparison to other Chozo weapons. Luckily, Samus can upgrade this beam to give it multiple special properties. ​Missile Launcher: An upgrade that adds ballistic potential to Samus' arsenal. Samus has a limit of 255 missiles at her disposal, but she can collect more if they are scattered around the battlefield. Missiles are more destructive than regular, uncharged beams, and are able to home on enemies. Charge Combos: Powerful techniques that combine the power of fully charged beams with Super Missiles. Morph Ball: A complex piece of Chozo technology that allows Samus to turn into a sphere 0.8 metres in diameter. It allows her to access tight areas, and it gives her faster movement speed. It allows Samus to use bombs, and it can be upgraded as well. Bombs: Small explosives that can only be used in Morph Ball form. Not very powerful but can be useful to reach certain spots. Power Bombs: Extremely powerful explosives that can only be used in Morph Ball form. They release a massive heat wave that can wipe out all kinds of alien creatures and even heavily armored humans. Its destructive force cannot be contained with common materials. Visors: The part of the Power Suit that protects her face, while also allowing her to lock onto targets with ease. It can be upgraded with more functions. Power Grip: Allows Samus to easily maneuver while grabbing onto ledges. Riveting, I know. High Jump Boots: They increase Samus' jumping capabilities x1/2.
