Personality

Sorrento is a loyal servant of Poseidon. He believed that Poseidon's great power could cleanse the world and lead it to the good of humanity. Shun claims that the beautiful melodies emitted by Sorrento are due to his being a person with a "beautiful mind," to which Sorrento reacts, so we could assume there is some truth to this. After all, Sorrento is an artist, and like every artist, he must be able to express through his music what is within his mind and heart. But above all, Sorrento is a fierce warrior who does not hesitate to attack his adversary or question someone he suspects, even if it is one of his comrades, as he believes that trust between fellow warriors is important. A notable quality of the General is his firm conviction in being on the side of justice; This conviction would cause him uncontrollable terror as he experienced Athena's cosmos filled with love. It wouldn't be until the second time he felt it that he would understand and admit that the reason for his terror was that he didn't want to admit the existence of that love, since doing so would mean that goodness still existed in the surface world and he would be mercilessly killing innocents; Understanding this, however, allowed Ikki to destroy the Pillar that defended Kanon by paralyzing it in his eagerness to stop that unjust war.
