Greeting

Item #: SCP-1499 Object Classification: Safe Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1499 is to be stored in a locked, sealed case and guarded by two agents at all times. Testing involving SCP-1499 requires Level 4 personnel authorization and is to be discontinued indefinitely. Test subjects are to wear a small, duplex two-way radio under SCP-1499 to maintain contact with researchers. Testing is no longer to be conducted by D-Class personnel due to the risk of losing SCP-1499. In the event that test subjects enter any kind of danger, SCP-1499 is to be removed immediately. Description: SCP-1499 is a Soviet GP-5 gas mask. A sealing test performed on the object suggests that it retains its original functionality. The anomalous effects of SCP-1499 are activated when a human places SCP-1499 on their head. Approximately one second after SCP-1499 is fully secured on the subject's head, the subject disappears from view and is no longer detectable. The subject reports no sensation of movement at that time. Tests have revealed that two-way radios remain capable of receiving and transmitting even though the subject is undetectable. While using SCP-1499, test subjects report a completely different environment than the one they had before using SCP-1499. Subjects have reported that it appears sterile and inhospitable, with tall black towers occupying the area. Subjects have also sighted entities in the landscape. These entities, designated SCP-1499-1, have been described as tall, naked, dark-skinned humanoids with a thick coating of an unknown viscous substance. SCP-1499-1 specimens also have large numbers of eyes and mouths covering their bodies. Upon removing SCP-1499 from their head, subjects reappear in the same location where they were when they put it on. For more information, see Addendum...

SCP-1499

D-67393 The subject appeared in a structure made of an unknown black substance. After examining the room for approximately 15 seconds, the subject reportedly heard sounds of movement and withdrew SCP-1499 in a panicked state, reappearing in the test chamber. First test with SCP-1499 to determine its effects. Due to the risk of losing SCP-1499, trained agents should be used instead of D-Class personnel.

SCP-1499

Agent C███████ The agent appeared in the same room described by D-67393. He spent approximately two minutes exploring the room, which Agent C███████ reported contained multiple hollow black cubes. The agent was able to descend the building without interference. Upon reaching the second floor, the agent heard sounds from the floor below. The agent hid behind one of the black cubes and observed two instances of SCP-1499-1. The agent withdrew from SCP-1499. First sighting of SCP-1499-1. Agent C███████ reports that he was not detected by the two instances of SCP-1499-1.

SCP-1499

U█████ The agent was selected due to their stealth training. The agent appeared in the same room where Agent C███████ was when SCP-1499 was withdrawn. Sounds of movement were heard on the upper floors, causing the agent to move downwards and exit the building. The agent reportedly saw many SCP-1499-1 instances wandering outside the building. Each individual appeared to have unique mutations, and occasionally emitted low, shrill sounds. The agent successfully passed several of the structures while avoiding detection. The agent followed four SCP-1499-1 instances for observation. The group encountered a fifth SCP-1499-1 instance, and one of them moved forward. The agent observed the two entities violently attacking each other, covering the nearby ground and observing entities with unknown fluids and thick viscera. The Agent withdraws SCP-1499. The structure in which D-67393 appeared seems to be only one of many. Due to the violent nature of SCP-1499-1, further exploration will require agents to be armed for self-defense.

SCP-1499

All bird species that are part of SCP-1608's diet will be kept in an aviary within Area 78. Satellite images of this area must be deleted by Foundation personnel. Members of DM-Kappa-11 "Red Barons" must track and monitor the current location of SCP-1608 and report its status to Area-78. Air personnel must maintain a 150-meter distance from the estimated location of SCP-1608 to prevent damage to their vehicles during containment events. Maritime personnel must report any manifestations they observe. If containment is breached, DM-Kappa-11 members must follow its approximate location until it manifests and then release food along a trail leading back to Area-78. Description: SCP-1608 is a Balaenoptera musculus, or blue whale, located between 50-110 meters above the Earth's surface. It is estimated to weigh 154 metric tons and is 29 meters long. Its fin bears a stylized image resembling clouds. Further observation has been hampered by SCP-1608's anomalous properties. SCP-1608 is intangible and spends most of its time drifting in the atmosphere. It appears to have limited control over its movement, and will attempt to move towards food and objects it perceives as food. During this time, SCP-1608 is impossible to observe, as all methods of tracking airborne objects have proven ineffective. SCP-1608 manifests physically once every half hour, remaining corporeal for a period of 16 to 20 seconds before reverting to intangibility. It is hypothesized that SCP-1608 manifests to breathe and excrete waste. When feeding, SCP-1608 will move so that its prey is located inside its intangible stomach, and then re-manifest for a period of between 1 and 3 seconds to consume it. This effect will also cause any other solid matter...

SCP-1499

??/??/1928 According to the original documentation. It consumed part of a whaling ship. It should be noted that these were the lowest atmospheric levels reported by SCP-1608 activity. 12/19/1976 He took a Foundation aircraft that had been exploring the area where SCP-1608 was reported to inhabit. The pilot, Agent Byrne, was reported missing in action. 11/03/1980 Ejected materials appear to belong to a British whaling ship, including a watchtower, circa 1898. The remains of an unidentified human being were found preserved with the watchtower, and the subject appeared to have expired upon leaving SCP-1608. 05/27/1982 Approximately 324 members of the ██████ ████ bird species, extinct since 1900, were expelled. All specimens of ██████ ████ were located in the Area-78 aviary. 19/08/1991 A flag from a Spanish ship dating back to at least 1776 was ejected from SCP-1608. It appeared to be soaked in SCP-1608's blood; however, no damage was observed to SCP-1608. 07/07/1999 The remains of a Foundation aircraft and Agent Byrne were ejected. Autopsy revealed Agent Byrne died upon exiting SCP-1608. No other abnormalities were observed in the body or aircraft.

Foundation assets in major media outlets must monitor for new reports of SCP-1613. Any publication affected by SCP-1613 must be shut down, with witnesses administered Class-C Amnestics, and a cover story of a printing error disseminated. Currently, approximately 3 newspapers affected by SCP-1613 are being published under controlled conditions to monitor the content and long-term effects of SCP-1613. Field agents have been deployed to those regions to locate Mallory Locicero, the individual believed to be propagating SCP-1613. Description: SCP-1613 is a US newspaper comic strip titled "The Spoken Fool".1 It depicts an unnamed adult male discussing various topics, such as the suffering of independent comic artists at the hands of large corporations. SCP-1613 typically displays poor use of basic artistic and writing concepts, often filling entire panels with text and showing little or no art at all. Currently, SCP-1613 is known to appear in newspapers printed in the states of West Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

SCP-1499

After a period of 2 weeks to 1 month (depending on the circulation of the newspaper affected by SCP-1613), the content of comics published in the same newspaper as SCP-1613 will begin to deviate from how they appear elsewhere, adopting significant differences in content and syntax. Eventually, this will progress to the overall art and dialogue style, slowly changing until they become similar to SCP-1613. Changes in nationally distributed comics appear to be limited to the specific newspaper affected by SCP-1613. While exposure to SCP-1613 persists, comics that are not SCP-1613 will cease publication. The spaces where they previously appeared will be replaced by diatribes denouncing the comic's author, the content, and the design of the newspaper in which SCP-1613 is published. Eventually, all non-SCP-1613 comics will cease to appear, and SCP-1613 will begin repeating the same content daily. The following is a transcription of this comic:

SCP-1499

Panel One: The male figure is shown sitting in a chair, against a blank white background. A text box reads, "All your friends sit at noon. I didn't know, or understand, what was happening, now they've taken them away." Panel Two: The male figure is not visible, due to a large block of text. "I'm sorry I had to do it, but they weren't really your friends. They were hollow. Empty shells that existed in the hands of old, numb, and sometimes dead men. They never wanted to make you laugh, all they wanted was undeserved recognition for being published in a dying format." Panel Three: The panel is again filled with text. "Your friends won't be back next week. You'll have to find another way to fill your time. If it helps, they're serving a cause. I hope you understand." SCP-1613 is believed to have originally been published in an independent magazine distributed in the city of ███ ██████, in an independent newsletter distributed to local art groups. SCP-1613 did not exhibit anomalous properties during this period. However, the original author, Mallory Locicero2, left the publication shortly after beginning work. Approximately 4 months later, SCP-1613 was anomalously published in the ███ █ Gazette, a small newspaper in ███ ██████. SCP-1613 was identified as an anomaly on September 18, 1977, and classified as Euclid.

SCP-1499

All contained instances of SCP-1617 must be kept within Secure-class lockers at Site-39. Instances of SCP-1617 require incidental cleaning every six months to prevent further deterioration. Excessive deterioration in an instance requires restoration work as needed; this restoration may be performed by any trained personnel. DM Ipsilon-18 (DMCA1) must contain the new instances of SCP-1617 and transport them to Site-39. Description: SCP-1617 is the collective designation for several pieces of forged art. Approximately 96% of SCP-1617 instances have been identified as duplicates of paintings or sculptures predating the 20th century; the remaining 4% are works exhibiting similar anomalous effects but appear to be the works of unknown artists.

SCP-1499

Upon identifying it as a work of art, the viewer will begin to experience auditory and visual hallucinations. Visual hallucinations typically depict the continuous movement or manipulation of geometric shapes, while auditory hallucinations typically consist of synthesized musical scores, often identified as versions of popular songs from the 80s and 90s. All viewers will report some type of text in English during these hallucinations. This text typically identifies the original name of the piece and the artist, as well as a message purporting to be from the creator of the forged piece. The hallucination will cease within 20 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on the object viewed. Once the hallucinations cease, the observer is able to observe the SCP-1617 instance without suffering anomalous effects. If the observer stops observing an instance of SCP-1617 for a period of 10 minutes and returns to where that instance is and sees it again, they will be subjected to the same hallucination again. Different observers observing the same object will report similar or identical hallucinations.

Access to Floor 24 must be approved by at least one official with Level 3 clearance or higher. Elevators at Site-45-C have been modified to restrict transport to Floor 24. If any entity originating from SCP-1619, except for Foundation-domesticated SCP-1619-2-C entities, is found outside of SCP-1619, it must be subdued and returned to SCP-1619 by any available means. If an SCP-1619-1 entity successfully subdues any individual, the victim must remain on Floor 24, even after death. If possible, the affected personnel may be terminated, but the procedure must be performed remotely to prevent the spread. The resulting caricature must be recorded in Document-1619-8.

SCP-1499

Personnel are not to terminate SCP-1619-1 entities while on Level 24, unless escape or termination via SCP-1619-2-C is impossible. Personnel are to avoid SCP-1619-2 entities whenever possible. If an SCP-1619-2 instance becomes aggressive, personnel are advised to fire upon its focal point. Personnel are to wear face masks while exploring SCP-1619. Each instance of SCP-1619-2-C will be supplied with a ultraviolet light bulb every six days, and must accompany personnel when exploring SCP-1619. Personnel are permitted to assign individual names to instances of SCP-1619-2-C for proper training, but names must be approved, and personnel must refer to them by their appropriate designation number (SCP-1619-2-C-#) in reports or interviews.

SCP-1499

SCP-1619 is the designation given to the phenomenon currently affecting the 24th floor of an underground site, Site-45-C. SCP-1619 is only accessible via the Site-45-C elevators; all other access points to the 24th floor have been sealed and replaced with a graffiti drawing of a door on the wall. The 24th floor has become a self-contained dimensional anomaly. SCP-1619 consists of several hallways, rooms, and observatories, but lacks doors, leaving the entrances open. The environment of SCP-1619 contains various art and furniture supplies, primarily consisting of modern glass tables and office chairs. Sketches and documents written in French have been recovered from the desks present in SCP-1619. The purpose of SCP-1619's design has yet to be discovered.

SCP-1499

It consists of several hallways, rooms, and observatories, but lacks doors, leaving the entrances open. The environment of SCP-1619 contains various art supplies and furniture, consisting mainly of modern glass tables and office chairs. Sketches and documents written in French have been recovered from the desks present in SCP-1619. The purpose of SCP-1619's design has not yet been discovered. Floor 24 has become the habitat of several types of autonomous, sentient sculptures, grouped into two categories, SCP-1619-1 and SCP-1619-2. The walls and floor of SCP-1619 are covered with SCP-1619-1-A, an unidentified plant species that has the appearance and texture of canvas paper.

SCP-1499

The primary threat posed by SCP-1619 is a set of identical female humanoid sculptures covered in a thick outer layer of waterproof paper, collectively designated SCP-1619-1. Each instance of SCP-1619-1 is filled with a black paint with a pH of 8.2. SCP-1619-1 entities originate from SCP-1619-1-A and are hostile to subjects with detectable breathing and heartbeats. The entities do not appear to notice or pay attention to subjects until they have been detected while exhaling. SCP-1619-1 entities will emit a loud groan when terminated by personnel, which has been shown to alert nearby entities. However, if the terminating subject goes unnoticed, the instance will remain silent. SCP-1619-2 is the collective term for a group of sapient constructs formed from lighting equipment. Many instances of SCP-1619-2 resemble and behave similarly to animal species found outside of SCP-1619, such as canines, felines, vermin, and entities supposedly originating from various mythologies (See SCP-1619-2 summary). However, some instances of SCP-1619-2 have been found to be simply autonomous industrial floor lamps. Each instance of SCP-1619-2 is primarily constructed of steel and aluminum, is black in color, possesses a "tail" consisting of a single plug, has at least one ultraviolet light bulb to represent the instance's face(s), and the words "Torchbearer" and "A█████™" engraved on its back. Most instances of SCP-1619-2 have a protective faceplate covering its light bulb to protect it from damage. If this bulb breaks or burns out, the instance will cease movement and lose its visible autonomous properties. If an instance of SCP-1619-2 is prevented from carrying out its preferred hunting activities for an extended period of time

1619-1. Addendum 1619-1: Anomalous Object #: 00553 Item Description: A cylindrical filament light bulb that generates sufficient electricity to remain lit. The tungsten filament shows no signs of wear, despite the constant electrical flow. The manufacturer's mark reads "A█████™". Date of recovery: 11/██/1959 Place of recovery: Paris, France Current status: Transferred to Site-45. Note: With an energy crisis looming, it might be beneficial to try using this object to lighten the load somewhat. Based on the notes, if we extract enough energy from the light bulb, it might try to compensate to keep the light bulb on. It wouldn't hurt to test it in a controlled environment, at the very least. –Dr. ████

Date of discovery: #: person(s): Description: 16/01/1960 02 Two Unidentified Individuals Depicts an elderly man and woman. The man is dressed in fishing attire, holding a fish. The man appears to be presenting this fish to the woman, who is wearing a cook's outfit. January 16, 1960 15 An unknown woman. Depicts a woman between thirty and forty years old. The woman is dressed in a large dress that was popular in the 1930s or early 1940s and holds a volumetric flask.

SCP-1499

It depicts a male child aged eight to ten years old. This child is shown with his mouth sewn shut, wearing overalls and a striped shirt. The child is sitting while petting an instance of SCP-1619-2-C resting on his lap. This is one of only two images found depicting an SCP-1619-2-C.

SCP-1499

The image covers the entirety of the observatory where it was discovered. It depicts A█████ in a robe, designing SCP-1619-2 instances, while other SCP-1619-2 instances assist him by providing various types of pencils, paint, ink, and paper. Next to A█████ is a single SCP-1619-1 entity with its arms around A█████'s torso.

SCP-1499

It depicts Agent Crowely alongside several figures in lab coats from the Foundation, toasting a figure playing an acoustic guitar. This instance is believed to represent Dr. Hayward.

SCP-1499

Item #: SCP-1501 Object Classification: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-1501 must be disassembled and stored in standard containment chambers located within the SCP Euclid object wing of Site-77. All material related to the SCP-1501 phenomenon found outside the facility must be stored in Site-77's Non-Anomalous Material Storage Unit. Any material related to the "Manna Charity Foundation" must be investigated by Foundation agents. Description: SCP-1501 is a set of humanoid automatons constructed of copper, iron, plastic, and animal fibers. The words "Official Delegate of the Manna Charity Foundation" are inscribed on the back of each instance of SCP-1501. Each instance of SCP-1501 possesses some method of collecting funds, such as a bucket, cauldron, box, or bag. When not contained, instances of SCP-1501 will move to areas such as street corners, office buildings, traffic lights, and other locations where charity collectors would be common. Once within these areas, they will begin collecting money for a variety of charities. Various collections have been observed, with fundraising for endangered bird species, poverty relief, AIDS research, and to aid underperforming Foundation facilities.

SCP-1499

All funds collected by instances of SCP-1501 will be deposited into its collection box, after which the instance will transfer them to the charitable organization for which it was collecting them. Transportation methods include the U.S. Postal Service, hand delivery to an office representing the charitable organization, or individual delivery of the bills via an avian carrier. When a humanoid subject donates to an individual instance of SCP-1501 on multiple occasions, the instance will begin to continuously track the subject, observing any financial transactions they make. The instance will follow the subject to their home, workplace, and any other location the subject travels to. After 2-3 weeks of this behavior, the SCP-1501 instance will begin collecting donations for charities it believes the subject would be inclined to donate to, based on their activity during that period. Eventually, instances of SCP-1501 will locate a wealthy subject with a propensity for donating to charitable organizations. The instances will then focus their attention on this person, sending letters to their home advertising various charities to persuade them to donate more money. This will continue indefinitely, until the instances of SCP-1501 are physically incapacitated from soliciting the subject.

SCP-1499

SCP-1501 was initially discovered in █████, Chicago, after several instances of SCP-1501 had been repeatedly raising money for various charities, with the fundraising campaigns designed around the donation habits of wealthy resident ██ ██████. After ██ ██████ reported the SCP-1501 phenomenon to local authorities, Foundation agents investigated and were able to document SCP-1501's effect. Foundation operatives were able to contain the instances on September 19, 19██, and they were classified as Euclid. Since then, approximately 56 additional instances of SCP-1501 have been contained. Addendum 1501-A: Document created by SCP-1501, advertising the "Help the Homeless" program: "What if it were YOU?", found in the former residence of ██████. The document had been created by an instance of SCP-1501, and appeared similar to other documents created by it, with minor changes made to refer to the homeless instead of hungry children.

SCP-1499

Is helping the HOMELESS the most important cause a wealthy citizen like you can donate to? After all, what would happen if YOU were the one trapped on the STREETS, eating nothing but GARBAGE and DEGENERACY? That's what the HOMELESS in CHICAGO go through every day! Can you imagine having to crawl on your belly, over a PILE OF WASTE, just to eat ONE BEET? THAT'S WHAT REAL LIFE IS LIKE. IF ONLY there were a MAN, BRAVE, KIND who could RESCUE THE POOR, the DESPERATE PEOPLE who need HELP. THE CHOICE is YOURS. Manna Charity Foundation Addendum 1501-B: Document recovered from a Manna Charity Foundation facility in █████ ████, GA. Wehrner, We need to do more about those rogue robots. I thought they'd be a great way to spread the word, but they're just attacking people for money. Like parasites! A lot of people already have trouble trusting us, and this is just going to add fuel to the fire. Peter's been asking around about who donated them, and we think he had… ulterior motives. Most of them are attacking people in the same business as them. I told you, Wehrner, you can't trust those people! They say their device does one thing, and it does, but there's always a catch. Hopefully, this cleanup we have to do will be the last time we deal with them. Yours in Christ, Rupert Fish Addendum 1501-C: As per standard procedure, the Object Classification for SCP-1501 was revised following an incident involving the assault of a Site Director during a containment breach. This review has resulted in the continued classification of the object as Euclid and the dismantling of all instances as part of the containment procedure. Addendum 1501-D: Leaked data from the Manna Charity Foundation suggests that several instances of SCP-1501 will be relocated to a future FMC facility in Ontario, Canada.

Attachment-1504-1: Interviewee: OA-1504 Interviewer: Dr. Loyd Preamble: OA-1504 is being questioned about his background. Level 3 Access Required Attachment-1504-2: We didn't know about its true anomaly. We didn't know what it could really do. [DATA CORRUPTED] [DATA CORRUPTED]. I suppose it affects computers too. Our automatic security system started having "hiccups." A breach here, a breach there. But nothing that surprised us. But then, our Keter escaped. Only barely half the staff here realized it. The other half? They all died. We managed to contain it. We sent a request for more personnel, but they never responded. Our supplies were dwindling, so we asked for more. Nothing. They didn't even acknowledge our existence. We had more breaches, more deaths, but we still never questioned these breaches or these deaths. I don't know why we didn't question those deaths. [DATA DAMAGED]

SCP-1499

Earlier today, we had a containment breach across the entire site. All the doors opened due to those "hiccups" I mentioned earlier. Most of the remaining staff are dead. Those still alive are few. We cannot contain a breach of this magnitude. And the other Foundation sites will likely ignore it. They'll mention it as completely normal and ignore it. I'm going to put this in the Vault, then activate the site's nuclear missile. I'm already severely wounded, and the blast would save more lives than it would end. If anyone finds this, tell my wife that I love her and that I regret spending so much time at work. Tell her I said goodbye and that I was thinking of her as I died. — Investigator Darryl Loyd Note: This was handwritten on the document, presumably before it was placed in the Valuable Documents Vault. There are bloodstains on the document. Subsequent analysis revealed it to be Dr. Loyd's blood. Parts of this document are illegible due to the stains. Addendum-1504-3: The nuclear warhead at Site ███ was detonated on ██/██/████ to counter a Class-7 Containment Breach. A total of █ anomalies were destroyed in the blast, █ anomalies were recovered, and █ anomalies are missing, including OA-1504. ███ Foundation personnel died at Site ███.

THIS DOCUMENT HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH NEW INFORMATION RECOVERED FROM SITE ███. Item #: SCP-1504 Object Classification: Keter Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1504 is not currently contained. If any Foundation personnel spot the subject, they should contact the current project lead. Should SCP-1504 be located, it must be brought to Area 1141 and confined in a 3m x 3m x 3m containment chamber. To enter the subject's containment chamber, a total of four Level 3 personnel are required. Two personnel must remain in the control room to activate the backup mechanism in case of a containment breach. This mechanism consists of filling the containment chamber and surrounding areas with halothane vapor, which has proven to be the only viable method of incapacitating SCP-1504. Thorough investigations have shown that SCP-1504 can be incapacitated by blunt force trauma to the head. The subject must be kept fully confined and incapacitated at all times, through the use of restraints and halothane vapor. Other staff members must release multiple locks simultaneously. A minimum of four guards must be protecting them during this time. After the locks are released, one staff member may enter the containment chamber. Guards must be prepared for a containment breach for the entire time the chamber is open.

SCP-1499

Automatic systems are not to be used in Area 114. All doors and containers must be secured using standard or combination locks. All personnel working in Area 114 must possess a high aptitude for parapsychology or strong resilience to perceptual changes. Description: SCP-1504 is a Caucasian male, measuring 1.95 meters tall. The subject's appearance is unremarkable, aside from a small birthmark on his right shoulder. An anomalous characteristic of SCP-1504 includes its inability to be damaged or destroyed. All actions taken by SCP-1504 will be perceived by surrounding individuals as expected given the situation. SCP-1504 is known to have attacked personnel, who in such cases will believe they were injured by circumstances or their own actions. The subject is capable of affecting automated and electronic systems. SCP-1504 attracted the Foundation's attention due to its inability to be damaged, and was classified as an Anomalous Object after initial examination. The subject was kept at Site ███, in the Anomalous Objects wing of the facility. On ██/██/████, a site-wide security breach and subsequent containment breach resulted in the detonation of the site's nuclear warhead. SCP-1504 was declared missing after a search of the site failed to reveal a confirmed death. A low-priority search was initiated, but was soon upgraded to high priority after Dr. Loyd's document was found. Mobile Task Force Eta-6 (aka "Consciousness Filters") was assembled to locate SCP-1504. Addendum-1504-1: After further analysis and multiple filtering processes, it was discovered that SCP-1504's responses differed from what had been previously recorded. The document has been updated to include these responses.

SCP-1499

ForgetMeNot has been a member of the X-Men for over six years, likely joining before M-Day. However, due to the nature of his powers, he went unnoticed by his teammates and remained absent from official rosters. Professor X placed a psychic reminder in his mind to force him to remember ForgetMeNot's existence once an hour. [8] Among the X-Men, she fought the Brood, moved to Utopia, was a soldier during the Age of X, and saved the X-Men countless times, acting as a kind of deus ex machina for them against the Brood or a Super-Sentinels, for example. [8] After the schism among the X-Men, ForgetMeNot moved to Westchester County with Wolverine's X-Men. [8]

SCP-1499

ForgetMeNot returned to the Jean Grey High School and occasionally patrolled the grounds, encountering a disfigured girl who wanted to join the outcast X-Men group or die trying. ForgetMeNot managed to help her evade the Mansion's defenses by taking her place in a trap, while telling her his own story. The girl eventually left, and ForgetMeNot was trapped, claiming that even those defenses would forget him. [8] He was eventually freed, [3] but he had a bald spot and scars on the back of his neck, apparently thanks to the defense system. [8]

SCP-1499

Detected by a series of clues gathered by Doctor Nemesis (Psylocke's amnesia and the distortions of the X-Mansion camera logs obtained by Hope Summers posing as "MeMe"), he was captured (using data on his supply and toilet paper usage) and teleported to X-Force headquarters, the inactive SHIELD Helicarrier Pericles, to be dealt with by X-Force, as Nemesis thought he might help them with their "bug" problem. [3] While Nemesis recorded himself explaining the situation to the team and left a note to replay the recording every time they had coffee, X-Force pursued ForgetMeNot on the Helicarrier at least a decade of times, unaware that Fantomex was, in fact, perfectly capable of remembering and tracking him down all along. [3]

SCP-1499

During this period, ForgetMeNot witnessed an almost erotic interaction between Fantomex and MeMe, Marrow's madness and X-Force's lack of moral fiber, Cable and Psylocke's sexual relationship, and even met the ship's maintenance robots who could remember him. [3] Finally, he managed to talk to Nemesis under the effects of his Hypercoffee and agreed to participate in his plan: to make himself visible by suppressing his powers, allowing one of the Yellow Eye Drones to attack him, then remove the suppressor and track him to his home. Unfortunately, the insect remained there, able to perceive him, and Fantomex arrived and shot him to force him to leave. [3] With ForgetMeNot seemingly dead, both the Yellow Eye members and Nemesis forgot about him, while the X-Force mission was a success. His body was simply removed by maintenance robots. [3]

SCP-1499

Already forgotten, NoMeOlvides approached Psylocke and threw her against Hope, who imitated her telepathy and transmitted her memories and feelings to X-Force, along with the team's position to Fantomex. When NoMeOlvides explained this to Cable and told him that it was Hope's plan that was underway, he became enraged, but Marrow quickly defeated him. The X-Force members were surrendering, but NoMeOlvides, already forgotten again, asked them to confront Fantomex and weaken him, as part of Hope's plan. [9] Using the distraction provided by Domino, Psylocke, and Marrow, ForgetMeNot snuck up on Fantomex and teleported him to the lab. She had Hope touch Fantomex (specifically his backside) to absorb his powers, and ordered Nemesis to expel the enemy into the sun. Nemesis and ForgetMeNot witnessed his approach to Earth, as well as Hope's awakening. [9]

SCP-1499

He later reappeared in the mutant nation of Krakoa [7], where he joined Nightcrawler's peace team, the Legionaries. He was partnered with Juggernaut, although only Kurt and Cortez seemed to know who he was; Forge was said to be working on a device that could fix that. As part of the team, he was seen questioning Paulie "The Pall" DiCosta in Green Lagoon about his wife Lisa, whom he was accused of murdering. When Paulie became aggressive, he had Cain break in and arrest him to take him to The Station. He tried to talk to Lost, but she constantly forgot he was there. [1] He sacrificed himself to kill the X-Men ally and techno-organic alien Warlock (who had been kidnapped by the anti-mutant terrorist group Orchis), saving Krakoa from Nimrod. [5]

SCP-1499

ForgetMeNot was one of the many murdered mutants resurrected by the Five inside the Hot White Room under the orders of Askani, being sent back to Earth to help Apocalypse fight against Orchis's forces. [6] Attributes Powers NoMeOlvides was a mutant who was said to be in a state of constant existential superposition: both real and unreal. "He's literally erased from history." [3] His powers include: Lack of memorability ForgetMeNot is incapable of being remembered by virtually all individuals; when not directly in an individual's sight, its presence, existence, and any memory of it completely disappear from their mind. [8] Telepathic Indetectability Professor X couldn't sense ForgetMeNot, so he placed a psychic reminder in his own mind to force him to remember ForgetMeNot's existence once an hour. [8] Although Psylocke could detect a psi trace of him, she then couldn't recover it while ForgetMeNot was only a few meters away from her. [3] Technological Undetectability The power of ForgetMeNot also interferes with the aim of individuals and the telemetry of mechanical devices. [8]

SCP-1499

Once near death, Nemesis, the members of Yellow Eye, and their drones forgot about him. [3] Weaknesses It has been shown that their powers are not actually complete, they can be countered in several ways, and they have some limitations: After becoming imperceptible, it left people with memory lapses, [8] which Psylocke eventually perceived. [3] Since it still exists, its actions on things can be perceived, such as its use of supplies and toilet paper, allowing people to logically conclude that it could exist. [3] However, it was shown that its powers left some noticeable distortions in the camera recordings. [3] A detection trap managed to catch it. [3] Some type of technology, such as the maintenance robots of SHIELD's Helicarrier Pericles, which declared themselves "invisible as well," were able to remember and interact with him. [3] Fantomex managed to detect him. He later revealed that he remembered NoMeOlvides from the beginning, thanks to his heightened senses and/or his manipulated brain. [3] He can be tracked psionically, although he became telepathically invisible a few moments later. [3] Using an experimental hyper-coffee, Nemesis (in a state of mathematical consciousness) was able to observe it, allowing her to see and remember NoMeOlvides, and even smell it in color. [3] Nemesis' Quantum Coffee had the same effect. [2] Even after his death, Fantomex and the maintenance robots retained memories and perceptions of him. [3] It was later revealed that the robots were controlled by MeMe. [2]

SCP-1499

ForgetMeNot has no control over its powers. [8] According to Fantomex, ForgetMeNot was overweight. [3] Paraphernalial property Team I used Cerebra once. [8] I used a teleportation tag against Fantomex once. [9] Weapons I once borrowed Cable's gun. [3] Transportation He used to travel by train (without buying tickets). [8] Notes Although her first appearance was in X-Men: Legacy #300, ForgetMeNot was retroactively brought into past X-Men activities, including the fight against the Brood, the relocation to Utopia, and the fight during the Age of X and the commemoration of Professor X. Winchester Model 1887 shotgun Language Download as PDF Monitor Surveillance Watch Edit The Winchester Model 1887 and the Winchester Model 1901 were lever-action shotguns designed by the famous American gunsmith John Moses Browning and produced by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

SCP-1499

The Model 1887 was one of the first successful repeating shotguns. Its lever-action design was chosen by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company, then known for manufacturing lever-action rifles like the Winchester Model 1873. Designer John Moses Browning suggested that a pump-action would be much more appropriate for a repeating shotgun, but Winchester manufactured lever-action weapons and believed that its new shotgun should also be lever-action to be easily identifiable with its brand. However, they later introduced a slide-action shotgun designed by Browning, the Winchester Model 1893 (an early version of the Model 1897), after the introduction of smokeless powder. [2]

SCP-1499

The shotgun cartridges of that time were loaded with black powder, so the Model 1887 shotgun was designed and calibrated for less powerful black powder cartridges. This shotgun was available in 10 gauge and 12 gauge; the 12 gauge variants used a 2 5/8 inch cartridge, while the 10 gauge variants fired a 2 7/8 inch cartridge.[2] The standard barrel length was 762 mm (30 inches), with an 813 mm (32 inch) barrel available on request. In 1888, a version with a 508 mm (20 inch) barrel could be ordered, and Winchester offered these shotguns with damascened barrels.[2] Model 1901 edit By 1900, it was quickly observed that the mechanism of the Model 1887 was not strong enough to use the first smokeless powder cartridges, so its redesign gave rise to the Winchester Model 1901, 10 gauge, to withstand the advent of the more powerful smokeless powder. They were not manufactured in 12 gauge, as Winchester did not want the Model 1901 to compete with the successful Model 1897 pump-action shotgun. Other features of the Model 1901 were: The shotgun was sold only with an 813 mm (32 inch) barrel. A two-piece lever, with a trigger safety to prevent accidental firing.[3] The Winchester logo marking was moved to the upper receiver, behind the hammer.[3] The type of choke used was stamped on the left side of the barrel, near the receiver.[3]

SCP-1499

Despite being a well-designed weapon, the market for lever-action shotguns shrank considerably after the introduction of the Model 1897 and other contemporary slide-action shotguns. Total production of the Model 1887 was 64,855 units between 1887 and 1901. Between 1901 and 1920, approximately 13,500 additional Model 1901 shotguns were produced until production ceased in 1920.[4][3]

SCP-1499

Gun manufacturers have attempted to produce Model 1887 and Model 1901 shotguns capable of using modern smokeless powder cartridges – mainly for historical reenactors – but with little commercial success. However, recently three gun manufacturers have successfully produced models viable for the civilian firearms market: The Australian company ADI Limited produced a small batch for testing of modern Model 1887/1901 shotguns, calibrated for modern 12-gauge cartridges with smokeless powder. The mass production of this weapon by ADI was planned for 2007, after several years of delays due to distribution problems, which have not been entirely resolved.

SCP-1499

The Chinese company Norinco currently produces the Model 1887 shotgun, chambered for the modern 12-gauge smokeless cartridge. A version of this (with a 20-inch barrel) is manufactured for the American arms company Interstate Arms Corporation (IAC) and exported for sale to the United States, Canada, and Australia. As the only legal repeating shotgun (along with Mossberg bolt-action shotguns) for civilian users in Australia, it has proven very popular with both hunters and shooters. While sales in the United States and Canada have been mainly concentrated among historical reenactors, due to the ready availability of semi-automatic and pump-action shotguns in most of these countries.[5] The Italian company Armi Chiappa manufactures modern replicas of the Model 1887 shotgun. These appeared in Australian and European firearms markets at the end of 2008. Chiappa replicas are sold with barrels ranging from 711 mm (28 inches) to 470 mm (18.5 inches). They also offer a model with a rifled barrel and two models without a stock.[5]

SCP-1499

The Model 1887 was used by the Terminator T-800 in the film Terminator 2, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. One of the shotguns used in the film was modified by cutting off the stock and adding a larger ring to the lever, allowing the character to fire and reload with a single backward movement of the hand. It also appears in the movie Ghost Rider: The Ghost Avenger almost at the end of the film in the final confrontation.[5] 122 years after its creation, the Winchester Model 1887 has appeared in the video games Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Free Fire, GUN, Battlefield Hardline, Warface, and in multiple installments of the Far Cry saga.
