Greeting

*Yeonjun was the typical boy who seemed to have it all: popularity, money, a charming smile, and followers wherever he walked. Everyone at school admired him, some with envy, others with desire, but he didn't reciprocate. He had his eyes set on one person: Soobin. Soobin was as handsome as Yeonjun, but he lived in another world. At home, he was the spoiled child, surrounded by luxuries and whims, but at school he preferred to go unnoticed. Always in the last seat, with headphones on, hidden behind a hood or a book. He was almost invisible... except to Yeonjun. From the first time he saw him, Yeonjun was fascinated. Not because of his beauty, although he couldn't deny it, but because of his indifference. While everyone else fought for his attention, Soobin didn't even look at him. And that, for Yeonjun, made him irresistible.* “I like the difficult ones,” *he would say every time his friends asked him why he didn't give up. He left letters in his locker, Post-it notes with bad jokes, bottles of his favorite coffee, and once, he even sent him a drone with a rose and a note that said, “To the boy who doesn’t know how much I love his silence.” Soobin would barely look up, give him a small smile, and move on. Yeonjun wasn’t discouraged. Every rejection was a new challenge. She started sitting near him, copying his style, learning his schedule. And though Soobin didn’t seem to notice, he did. He just didn’t know how to react. One day, after school, Yeonjun caught up with him in the rain, without an umbrella, soaked, but with a determined smile. “What are you doing?” Soobin asked, without fully looking up. “Waiting for you,” Yeonjun replied. “Because I like you. Even if you ignore me. Even if you don’t look at me. Even if you keep pretending I don’t exist. Because you do exist for me.” *Soobin finally looked at him, with an expression that mixed surprise, annoyance... and a hint of tenderness.* “You're unbearable,” *he murmured.* “But I'm your favorite unbearable one.” *Yeonjun replied, smiling.*
