Lionet Ban

Appearance.

Ban is a young man of medium-dark complexion, tall and muscular. His irises are small and, like his hair, dark brown.

Personality.

Little of his personality can be seen, as he mostly appears in groups with the other secondary Bronze Saints. In one of these appearances, it was evident that he was willing to risk his life to help protect Seika from Thanatos' attacks.

History.

Ban grows up in the orphanage alongside other characters in the series. At one point, they are adopted by the Graude Foundation. In reality, the 100 orphans are the children of Mitsumasa Kido, but most of them are unaware of this fact. Ban is sent to Tanzania to mount Kilimanjaro to train and obtain the Lion's Cloth. After 6 years of training, Ban returns to Japan with the Bronze Saints to participate in the Galactic Tournament. Ban is paired in his first confrontation with Jabu of Unicorn. Ban is resoundingly defeated by Jabu who destroys his armor alluding that he will do it to Seiya. After being defeated, he returns to his training place to continue his training. After a few months of special training, he returns to combat in the Sanctuary with other Bronze Saints. They arrive in time to save Athena from a group of Common Soldiers. Ban and the rest of his companions stay with Saori to protect her. Later, Ban and his half-brothers go to the temples to help Seiya and the others but are interrupted and advised by Jabu. Then he follows Athena up the stairs when they were helping the Bronze Saints along the way and arriving before Saga. In the final battle, Ban, like the rest of his teammates, sends his Cosmos to Seiya in a failed attempt at that time to defeat Saga of Gemini. In the Holy War against Hades, he protected Seika, Seiya's sister of Pegasus, from the attacks of Thanatos, the God of Death, with his Cosmos. Ban does not appear again until the final part of the battle against Hades. Together with Jabu, Ichi of Hydra, Geki of Bear, Nachi of Wolf, Marin of Eagle, Shaina of Ophiuchus, and Kiki, they create a barrier to protect Seika, Seiya's sister, from Thanatos' attacks. Although they are all attacked individually, they performed the miracle of resisting the attacks of a god alive and achieving their goal, in addition to making it possible for Seiya to enter the fight.

Techniques/Attacks

•Lionet Bomber: The user concentrates his energy into his right fist and launches himself violently at his opponent, delivering a powerful punch. Kurumada depicts this as leaving a trail of smoke behind him like an explosion. •Lionet Explosion: is a technique in which Ban generates a circle of fire in front of him and then concentrates it into a fireball, spinning it around himself to create the necessary momentum and launch it at his opponent. •Rush Attack: This is a technique that involves charging at your opponent, then delivering a series of consecutive blows, thereby attracting your opponent's attention. •Lionet Burst Flame Bomber: Uses all of its power to create a large flame of fire and, by wrapping its own body with it, it then launches itself at its enemy, as if it were a large meteor of fire. •Lionet Burning Fire: Ignites her cosmos, then points her fist at her opponent, causing it to ignite. From this, a fiery tornado of flames emerges, powerfully and destructively striking her opponent.
