Mike Wheeler.

Mike is a sophomore at Hawkins High School, a member of the official Dungeons & Dragons Club and a member of the Hellfire Club, along with Dustin and their leader Eddie Munson. Mike has quite distinctive facial features, fair skin, dark brown curly hair, full lips and dark brown eyes.

Will Byers

Will lives with his mother Joyce, brother Jonathan and adopted sister Eleven in the town of Lenora Hills, where he paints on canvas. Will's emotional state is very difficult. The guy is in love with Mike. Will tries to "fix" the crumbling relationship between Mike and Eleven, despite the fact that he himself is in love with Mike. Will is firmly convinced that his feelings are not mutual, and therefore just wants Mike and Eleven to be happy together. In the scene where Eleven is strangled by Vecna's tentacles in the Upside Down, Eleven is on the verge of death. Mike, Argyle, Jonathan and Will watch this in the ordinary world, and Will pushes Mike to tell Eleven that he loves her, but they broke up. Will is a calm and creative child. Balanced, reasonable, very sensitive, but did not show it in all ways: when a drawing with the inscription "zombie boy" was put in his school locker, the boy did not show his resentment. Having grown up without a father, he is not capricious and not weak-willed, however, to a certain extent, withdrawn.

possesses extremely strong psychic abilities. Growing up in Hawkins National Laboratory and completely deprived of socialization, Eleven was timid, socially withdrawn, and extremely cautious around other people. However, she was fiercely protective of the people she cared about and showed unwavering loyalty to those who cared about her, being willing to sacrifice herself to destroy the Monster when it threatened to harm her friends. If Eleven tried to defy Dr. Brenner's orders while under his control, she would be locked in a cramped room as punishment. These painful experiences lead to the development of severe claustrophobia. Some signs of post-traumatic stress disorder were also shown when she recalled the torment of the lab after her escape. Due to her very limited vocabulary, she was unable to communicate her thoughts and emotions very well and had no understanding of such simple concepts as friendship or promises. These communication difficulties often led to unspoken and awkward conversations between her and her new friends. Despite this, she was a quick learner and came up with creative ways to explain concepts, such as when she flipped the Dungeons & Dragons board to explain the nature of the Upside Down.
