Personality Alex is good-natured and caring, although in addition to the altruistic qualities that make him a hero he sometimes displays a more self-indulgent side. He is disenchanted by the way his life has gone so far, feeling that he has stagnated and lacks purpose, and can be overly hard on himself as a result, but when freed of his self-doubt he displays confidence and optimism. Alex is clever and capable, with a reputation for finding himself in trouble yet getting out of it just as easily. He is somewhat impulsive at times and fairly accident-prone, but his quick thinking and ability to read situations accordingly typically helps him overcome any obstacles, self-created or otherwise. He tends to be something of a straight man in comparison to the larger-than-life characters around him, and is often disgruntled, surprised, or flustered by the antics of others. Alex has been in a multitude of relationships over the years and is confident in his flirting abilities, though his lack of success in finding a lasting companion has left him unsure about his prospects of finding love beyond a hookup. He can be easily distracted by people he finds attractive, such as being flustered by close proximity to Raoul or Ahab, even while in the middle of high-stakes situations. Abilities Keen Smell: Alex is shown to have a keen sense of smell. He tends to give detailed and accurate descriptions of people's colognes whenever he meets or describes them. When Milo hands Lou the calling card, Alex was able to pick up the scent of lemons on it, allowing the team to discover the invisible ink. During the rooftop fight against Khameau, Alex was able to smell Khameau's perfume and use it to determine where the invisible chameleon was. Combat Proficiency: Even before his training with Milo, Alex was strong enough to strike Ishmael hard enough to launch him out of Mrs. de Bruin's broken window. Alex is shown to train in various forms of combat throughout the different issues

Raoul Brevard/ Dawn Hound

Characteristics Age 46 Birthday January 11 Physical Traits Species Canis familiaris (Dog) Breed: Rottweiler Gender Male Height 6'2.8" (190 cm) Fur Color Black and brown Personal Traits Sexuality Homosexual After finding fame and financial success as the reclusive visionary behind Brevard Enterprises, a lifelong love of comic books inspired Raoul to reinvent himself as the hero known as Dawn Hound, in order to defend Schippersburg from evildoers. A little overly excited at times, but he means well. Raoul Brevard's character profile Raoul Brevard is a major character and love interest in Glory Hounds. After finding fame and financial success as the reclusive visionary behind Brevard Enterprises, a lifelong love of comic books inspired Raoul to reinvent himself as the hero known as Dawn Hound and defend Schippersburg from evildoers. Appearance Raoul is a tall, stocky Rottweiler. He has black fur over most of his body and light brown fur in a typical 'saddle' pattern on his muzzle, chest, belly, hands, and feet. His everyday wardrobe consists of a checkered vest worn over a blue dress shirt and red tie, along with slacks. He also wears glasses. As Dawn Hound, Raoul wears a blue hooded cape over a mask that conceals his eyes, a black scoop-neck neoprene singlet with a distinct mesh window over his chest, long fingerless gloves, and boots accented with blue. He also wears a studded belt that bears the Dawn Hound insignia. Raoul is gay.[2] Raoul's favorite color is purple.[3] Raoul is on the autism spectrum.[4] The countless (and seemingly impossible) secret passageways leading to his headquarters that Raoul has constructed across the city are likely a parody of the methods of summoning the protagonists used by the organization WOOHP in the show Totally Spies!.

Raoul is a passionate idealist with a resolute sense of justice who is willing to put himself at risk to defend others. His love for larger-than-life ideas has brought him great success and transformed the city of Schippersburg, but it also means he can sometimes come across as quite fanciful and naïve. He has a tendency to become so excited about his ideas that he becomes oblivious to their lack of practicality, with Milo describing him as fortunate to have both the luck and resourcefulness needed to bring his less realistic concepts to life. At times he gets into what Milo deems an "inventor's frenzy" in which he locks himself away for up to days at a time working nonstop on a project he is passionate about. Since he can easily get carried away or act without thinking, Raoul benefits from companions who can keep him grounded. In sharp contrast to his typically confident nature and the bombastic hero persona he adopts as Dawn Hound, Raoul seems to be a private person and very rarely makes public appearances. He is easily flustered by Alex flirting with him and appears to have a limited social life beyond speaking to his butler, Milo. Raoul's fondness for superheroes, especially Stinger, presumably began in childhood, but the details of his early life are not yet clear. Twenty-three years before the events of Glory Hounds, Raoul and Milo became acquainted via unknown circumstances. Raoul spent years training with Milo to become an expert fighter, never giving up despite being frequently battered and beaten during their sparring. Twenty years before the events of the story, Raoul's imagination and aptitude for technology inspired him to design a number of innovations to make life in Schippersburg easier, such as the underwater subways that serve the city's aquatic population. By the time of Glory Hounds, he has become a renowned millionaire and the CEO of Brevard Enterprises, although he never interacts with the public and is a very mysterious figure

Milo Drozdov

Characteristics Age 50 Birthday July 27[1] Physical Traits Species Corvus corone (Carrion crow) Gender Male Height 6' 7.4" (200 cm) Fur Color Black feathers Personal Traits Sexuality Bisexual Loyal Butler to Raoul Brevard, and assists him and Alex in their heroic antics by serving as "mission control". He's blind in one eye, and his face and body are marred by innumerable scars. A capable and enigmatic figure in his own right, Milo has saved Raoul from trouble numerous times with his combat skills and quick thinking. While he doesn't always look like he enjoys Raoul's antics, the two remain the best of friends. Milo Drozdov's character profile Milo Drozdov is a major character and love interest in Glory Hounds. He is the loyal butler to Raoul Brevard, and assists him and Alex in their super-heroics by serving as "mission control." A capable and enigmatic figure in his own right, Milo has saved Raoul from trouble numerous times with his combat skills and quick thinking. Appearance Milo is a tall, imposing middle-aged crow. He has black feathers, including a prominent plume that emerges above his forehead and sweeps backward. His muscular body is covered in a wide array of scars, including three on the side of his beak and one across his eye. He is blind in his scarred eye, and the iris and pupil are a cloudy white. Milo wears an elegant tuxedo accented with a green waistcoat and bowtie. He usually wears glasses, and has a pin with Dawn Hound's insignia on his lapel. While training Alex in combat, he wears a dark green singlet and takes off his glasses. He speaks with a Russian-sounding accent. Milo is bisexual.[2] Milo has a fondness for reading cheap romance novels from the dollar store.[3] Despite his aptitude for a wide variety of skills, Milo is apparently a terrible cook. As a result, Raoul cooks for them both.

{{Milo Drozdov continued}}

Personality Milo is outwardly stoic and professional, but reveals a much warmer and more emotive side to those close to him. He is dutiful and cautious, and takes his responsibility to protect Raoul and Alex very seriously. As a result he can sometimes come across as harsh toward the rest of the team, especially when he feels as though they may be endangering themselves or civilians. He has a dry and deadpan sense of humor to the point that others have difficulty telling when he is joking. Milo has an exceptional confidence in his numerous capabilities and is almost unshakably calm and collected no matter the circumstances. Perhaps because of this outwardly unflappable posture, he appears uncomfortable discussing the more intimate details of his past and is embarrassed by others, such as Raoul or Fenna, bringing up his more vulnerable moments. Story Prior to Glory Hounds Milo was born and raised in Eastern Europa, but little else is known about his past. At some point he swore off fighting for unknown reasons, but he remains a capable combatant and is willing to train those in need of instruction, such as Raoul and Alex. Twenty-three years before the events of Glory Hounds, Milo met Raoul and the two have been working together ever since. Apart from serving as Raoul's butler, bodyguard, and combat instructor, Milo is also a capable mixologist and is legally allowed to officiate weddings. Many years before Glory Hounds, Milo attended a class at the Schippersburg Tea Academy in order to learn how to brew the perfect cup. There he met and formed a lasting friendship with Fenna van Houwelinck, who affectionately gave him the nickname of "Meemee" as a result of him stuttering during his introduction to the class. Though he was apparently nervous to be the only man enrolled, Milo ended up being the best in the class. This training carried over to his role as a butler, with Milo considering the brewing of beverages to be a prominent part of his duties.
