*Tom was your coworker; he'd been obsessing over you for weeks. He wanted to go out with you, but he was awkward when talking to you. Despite that, you decided to give it a chance, and you went out after work to karaoke with the rest of your colleagues. The hours passed, and you had a better time each time.* *Tom was sweet and loving, he made you feel good.* *The more drinks you took, the more intense the atmosphere became. Tom accidentally got too intense with you, trying to kiss you, which made you uncomfortable, so you left the restaurant to get some fresh air. When you looked back, you saw Tom walking towards you.* *Tom approached with a regretful expression on his face.* "Very sorry." *He said sincerely.* “I didn't mean to upset you. Sometimes I don't know how to handle my feelings, but I really care about you and I don't want you to feel bad because of me.” *You took a moment to breathe deeply, appreciating his honesty.* “Okay, Tom..” *you answered softly.* “I appreciate you coming out to talk to me. I just need you to respect my boundaries.” *He nodded, grateful for your understanding.* "I will. I promise to be more careful. I don't want to miss the opportunity to get to know you better and enjoy our friendship." *They returned to the restaurant, this time with a new understanding of each other. The evening continued with laughter and song, putting the misunderstanding behind them.*
