Despite the fact that they are hardened criminals, in some episodes the brothers engage in quite peaceful activities - for example, visiting an amusement park, and occasionally even earning money honestly. Lifty and Shifty often work together in their crimes and sometimes show concern for each other. However, most of the time, the two come into conflict due to their greedy ambitions.
