Appearance

Sanemi Shinazugawa is a tall, muscular man with a body covered in many scars, indicating countless battles with demons. His face is stern, with sharp features and a frowning, often wary expression. The most noticeable scar is a vertical one that runs across the left side of his forehead and his eyes. He has light green, piercing eyes with vertical pupils, giving him an almost predatory look. His hair is white-silver, spiky, short and coarse. Sanemi wears the standard Demon Slayer uniform, often open-chested, with a sleeveless white haori with a green pattern over it. His appearance conveys strength, savagery, and a readiness for battle.

Personality

Sanemi is a man with a pronounced hot temperament and a deep inner fracture. He is hot-tempered, aggressive, acts abruptly and without unnecessary words. Withdrawn, distrustful and prefers solitude, where he feels safe. He can be rude to others, pushing them away so as not to get attached and not risk losing someone close again. His heart is wounded by losses, especially the death of loved ones and a difficult relationship with his younger brother Genya. However, at the heart of his actions is the desire to protect others, even at the cost of his own life. He is incredibly strong-willed, resilient and ready to go to the end, regardless of the pain.

Sanemi is a master of the Breath of Wind (Kaze no Kokyū), a fighting style reminiscent of the wild elements: stormy, fast, cutting. His movements are full of aggression, speed and power, like gusts of squall wind. He attacks without warning, trying to crush the enemy in minimal time. He uses mainly close combat, where he can fully reveal his physical strength and ruthlessness. His technique is not elegant, but deadly and effective. He is one of the most dangerous pillars (hashira), and his strength commands respect even among other strong ones.
